Here’s some tips to help to overcome art block and get ideas for your art.
TIP #1
Create thumbnail sketches. Sketch every idea that comes to you without editing yourself.
1-2 minutes per sketch. Try to capture the overall composition and idea without any detail.
Challenge: Create 50-100 thumbnail sketches
TIP #2
Manage your input vs output. You can’t create and come up with ideas if you don’t give yourself inspiring input. Watch tutorials, consume games and movies, have life experiences, follow artists that inspire you, go outside and explore nature.
TIP #3
Gather reference material and save ideas and photos of things that inspire you. Search for photographs that inspire you or depict things you want to include in your art.
For example, gather photos depicting the type of foliage you want to depict in your art to help you study and learn how to draw them.

Prompt:
Draw your character as part of a romance novel cover. What would the novel be called? What is the era? Would it be swoony, or adventurous? If you are a writer, write the synopsis with your character as the protagonist.

Prompt:
Draw or write about your character after being shrunk to a tiny size or (For smaller characters,) being enlarged to dizzying heights for a day. Are you now one inch tall or ten feet tall? How do they feel? What do they do with this newfound size?

Write or draw your character as the protagonist (or antagonist) of a classic fairytale! Is your character Little Red or the Big Bad Wolf? Snow White or the Evil Queen? Up to you!

Prompt #1
You have received a notice about one of the gifts you ordered for someone dear to you. It instructs you to pick it up in person, and gives you a specific time-- the very same day! You rush to the address to find your package waiting for you, but there's something a little strange. Draw or write about your character picking up their package from a suspicious caretaker. Are they a squirrely Paperdemon with a few too many wings and horns to be JUST a Paperdemon? Are they a shadowy figure with no discernable features? Are they a normal cat?
