Crawling into the front office of a mortuary which smells keenly of incense, you are greeted by a young woman whose nametag reads 'Celia - Assistant'.
"...Welcome to Next Life Mortuary. We'll be happy to provide you your ticket to a new life on the other side."
You, a strange species of sentient fungus identified as Myocelia, have come here in pursuit of the sweet smell of decaying human life. After all, you won't be able to slip into human society without a suitable disguise...

JANUARY NEWSLETTERFungus of the Week
Hydnellum peckii
Known as the 'bleeding tooth' fungus, this strange-looking mushroom is named quite aptly for its bone-white appearance and the bright red droplets it produces when in the younger stages of its life. While this mushroom is not poisonous, it apparently doesn't make for good eating, either. Otherwise I'd be very tempted to slurp the red mushroom juice...
Species NPCs
A newly born myocelia. Still has a lot to learn about the world.
The director of the mortuary that distributes bodies to Myocelia. A mysterious person.
