Welcome to the Alien world of the Nycti!
Nycti are little aliens crafted from drifting stardust. That grew with their surroundings, and evolved with the world around them. it wasn't until they were introduced to humans at the intergalactic space station that they began to develop earthly characteristics. Always looking to expand the abilities of the forms that they could take.
The Nycti start out in a smaller more plush animalistic form. Some choose to stay in this form their whole lives, while others adapt to shifting into a more humanoid appearance to mimic their earthling counterparts. They can change freely between forms. though they keep most of their unique traits.
