An ark/Primal-inspired world with time shenanigans. Basically, there is a continent with floating isles and broken-down ruins ranging from ancient civilizations to destroyed UFOs and alien technology. Animals and people from all over the universe and time have been sucked into this time-pocket dimension losing almost all of their memories when they arrive here. Some people get here accidentally from messing with time or by pure accident. However, when they get here they can’t escape they are forced to survive in an unforgiving world filled with dinosaurs and creatures from alien worlds.
There are (currently) 7 major tribes with a secret 8th one in hiding. These tribes flow between allyship and enemies it’s not uncommon for one group to be allies for a season or two and then break off from each other. Whatever the reason may be it seems humans are the only “sentient” race able to survive in the atmosphere of this world as most alien races who arrive here die shortly due to the climates and viruses they aren’t used to. Some people do regain their memories to a certain extent and are searching for answers and others who remember their lives before they were sucked into here. Some have even discovered certain technology that seems to flow throughout the world they reside in and are working on activating it in hopes it can help them return in some way. While other people who also remember try and stop them as they want to stay here in this world.
The prehistoric animals in this world range from all over time you can see mammoths walking with Stegosaurus and white tail deers grazing with iguanodons. It’s also very apparent that some of the creatures have been altered in a similar way to Jurassic world dinosaurs etc with unusual powers and abilities a normal version wouldn’t have (such as poisonous spit or being able to camouflage like an octopus or even just being way larger and more powerful than a standard version of that animal.) These are usually referred to as “altered -animal names-” or “grand -name- if they are the apex larger version of that species. The inhabitants of this world have learned to tame these ancient creatures and use them for a variety of jobs and work from transportation companionship or even fighting in battles or arenas for bets.
