Within the Anicettan pantheon, leviathans are the embodiments of major planetary figures; they created the immortals from moons, stars, as well as other celestial bodies. Mortal life then came into fruition as a consequence, formed from the sediment of fractured stars. This system of creation established a hierarchy among mortals, gods, and leviathans based on celestial origin; leviathans are viewed as all powerful, followed by gods and immortal life, with mortals at the very bottom due to their diluted celestial makeup. In their time on Earth, the gods came to be admired by a cluster of civilizations who then united as a result of their shared worship to form the Anicettan Empire.
