Scarfyz that present with the animal hat scarf don't actually grow a scarf. Instead, they grow a hat that sports animal-like characteristics. During their youth when their hat is growing in it appears as an animal face is growing from their behind, this can or cannot feature the ears. Any animal can be present, however the most common are bunnies, cats, and dogs. The tails that grow from this type of scarfyz match those that the animal their hat is based on would really have but made of fabric. There are many cases where the grown tail does not actually match the animal of the hat.

Scarfyz that present with the Ball n' chain scarf are a rare kind of scarfyz that instead of having a scarf made of threads it's made of a metallic bone-like keratin. Their keratin grows into a collar and a chain tipped with a heavy ball. Although the collar appears to have a keyhole with the ability to be unlocked, this is simply a small indent in the collar to mimic the appearance of a keyhole. Scarfyz with this type of scarf are very good at defending themselves due to constantly wielding a giant blunt weapon. However, these scarfyz are much more vulnerable to cold weather due to the lack of an actual scarf.

Bandages

Scarfyz that grow the bandage scarf are often the clumsiest of teenagers, as that's when their scarf portion is the longest. While in their youth a single bandage grows from the behind and progressively gets longer until it falls off, marking the end of the scarf. This bandage can be wrapped in any way around the scarfyz. Most wrap it around the neck, while some scarfyz's is long enough that it can also wrap around the arms. The tail of the scarf is similarly awkward, however is much easier to be tamed. The longer the tail grows, most scarfyz will find it cumbersome and begin to wrap it around their thighs. When their bandage tail stops growing, they may choose the length, though they always have two strands. This type of scarf is very prone to fraying.

Bandanna

A small fold of fabric tied around the neck. During youth this scarf looks like a flowing tail as it grows horizontally out from one corner of the bandanna. This scarf is ideal for warmer weather but on the other hand it isn't going to do much in cold weather. The tail of this scarf is made up of a knot with two tips.

Bat lace

Scarfyz with the bat lace scarf are often made fun of during their teenage years. This is due to the growing of the gloves from their behind. While in their youth the shawl portion of this scarf grows out, looking like a tube. The gloves follow suit, however they are much shorter tubes. When all the gloves finish growing are fall off the tail begins to sprout. A long string with small beads placed evenly along it grows to varying lengths. However, it tends to be moderate in length.

Bead

Scarfyz that present with the bead scarf are a rare kind of scarfyz that instead of having a scarf made of threads it's made of a metallic bone-like keratin. Their keratin grows a loop of large spheres for the scarf before falling off, making a necklace. Their tail is simpler growing a single line of beads. Their tails vary in length however they tend to be moderate in length.

Blanket

Scarfyz that present with the blanket scarf do not grow multiple scarves. They only grow one scarf that is a very large rectangle, growing out similarly to the bandanna. When this single sheet sheds it is tied around the neck and draped over the body.

Bomber

Scarfyz that present with the bomber scarf do not grow a scarf but do grow multiple pieces of apparel. The first piece of apparel to grow is the bomber hat, starting as the prominent fluff on the front of the hat. Once the hat sheds multiple tubes are produced, which become leg warmers. The final thing to grow is a small, tufted tail.

Bow

Scarfyz who grow the bow scarf aren't particularly warm, however they do look fancy. These bows are made of a thick ribbon that is wound around the neck and tied into a bow with two strings handing down with a triangular notch at the end. During youth this bow is in fact one long ribbon and similarly to the bandage scarf can make adolescence fairly awkward and clumsy. The tail is a large bow as well, however, lacks the dangling ribbons.

Bowtie

Scarfyz that grow this scarf are often very cold, due to the minimal coverage. During the youth the tail grows in as a bow, eventually growing a loop and then shedding. The tail that follows forms a different bowtie style, forming a neat knot.
