Kigunaut to Kemonaut!
Characterized be a small kemono-type gremlin body that seems to perpetually don a spacesuit like affair, the Kemonaut species is friendly and space wide in existence!
Origins of the species are generally unknown, but much of it are guided by the Mother Cloth, who travels carrying the pack, helping them craft the suits that make up the species!
There's any number of reason for people to join the species, but it feeling like one needs to get away from every day responsibility, to feeling more at home in the Kemonaut body, to hiding and getting away from crimes, to heal or stave off death. Any and an ever increasing number of reasons, really!
Kigunaut or Kemonaut? What's the difference?
Any species, any circumstance, and a Kigunaut Suit! The three ingredients that make up a usual member of the species! Consider it like a host and parasite type species, except it's a wearer and their suit.
The term Kigunaut is mostly used in combination with 'Suit', to refer to the 'Kigunaut Suit' itself, unworn. And that too is the combination of the essential dome mask and kigurumi suit.
The term Kemonaut refers to the astronaut-like small bodied kemono-type gremlin space faring species any species can become once they don the Kigunaut Suit.
It's incorrectly, but commonly used interchangeably.
