Four friends started as kittypets and wanted their own lives, their owners treating them how they didn't want to be treated, soon becoming their last straw.
Taylor, is a large white fluffy long-haired cat who is loyal and kind, the leader and the one they look up to. Mr. Lion, a large short-haired cat with a mane like a lion, enjoyed crawling through the tightest places and finding a place to see the stars the best. Poodle, a short-haired blue cat who was treated as a princess, given the finest food, and kept nice and clean. She hated that, she loved swimming and playing in the rain, her fur getting muddy which her owner hated. Cody, a black and white short-haired cat, lurks in the darkness, scaring his friends quite easily. He is often known as a night owl, sleeping through the day and wide awake at night.
They escaped their homes and ran into a magical pool of water which showed them into a Celestial Clan, two of the most known cats there, Crumble and Cherry, are passed on cats who ran away just like them, but died trying. They helped them create a safer place for cats who no longer wish to be treated like a pet, hoping that no more will fall into the paws of death. All wanted their ways of living so the two made them up into clans in which the cats would lead.
Taylor became Tail'Star, Flurry Clan Leader
Mr. Lion became Roar'Star, Echo Clan Leader
Poodle became Stream'Star, Rivulet Clan Leader
Cody became Dim'Star, Umbra Clan Leader
The friends went their ways and gathered homeless cats to join them, but soon enough the clans went against each other, fighting for who was better, who should join whom, and who was the worst leader. This caused many conflicts between the friends, and their relationships slowly dying.
One night, Crumble and Cherry called them to a place in between all their clans, hoping they would get along by meeting there every full moon, but it just created a catfight in which the two had to make rules.
1. You may have friendships with cats from the other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan.
2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission, apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten.
5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.
6. A cat cannot be made deputy without mentoring at least one apprentice.
7. The deputy will become the clan leader when the leader dies or retires.
8. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moon high.
9. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night. There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.
10. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily.
11. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.
12. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.
13. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.
14. Kits aren't allowed to leave camp and apprentices aren't allowed to leave without a warrior.
15. Every cat must have a silent vigil during the Solar Eclipse.
16. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
Flurry clan was made into endless snow, Rivulet clan was made into endless rain, Echo clan had heavy fog every night, and Umbra clan had heatwaves in the day and cold waves in the night.
They thought until they learned their lesson, they would continue to receive these punishments until the clans could become friends once again. But this never happened.
100 years later, many cats from the original clans are rather dead or elders that keep on the memories, reminding the newer and younger about the leaders and how terrible the other clans are, keeping the rivalry going with the clans.
Umbra clan and Echo clan aren't fond of the other clans, learned to hate each other and attack on sight, the two are quite close to fighting to finish each other off and see who is on top.
Flurry clan doesn't mind the other clans but does not like them either, they only follow in the steps of Celestial clan and only fight if they need it.
Rivulet clan are friendly and do not wish for any harm to each other, helping all in need no matter what clan, disagreeing to all fights.
How will the clans continue like this?
Crimson'Star, the Flurry Clan Leader, Emerald'Star, the Echo Clan Leader, Feathered'Star, the Rivulet Clan Leader, and Freckled'Star, the Umbra Clan Leader, have passed on to Celestial clan, their deputies taking their place.
