Welcome to The Sub Liminal Space, also known as The Subspace or The S.S. The Sub Liminal Space is a dimension accessed by means of no-clipping and/or powerful teleportation. The Sub Liminal Space is a series of different realities and areas that are intertwined with one another.
Concantatus scientists are unsure of the real cause of the creation of this confusing, separate universe. The Collision Theory, the most believed, describes that The Subspace Universe and Concantatus’ Universe were separate universes until The Subspace collided with the other (Universe Collision/Universe Clash), resulting in the two universes becoming interconnected and enabling travel between the two. This theory was made by Dr. Eder Phillips and Dr. Elisabeth Whire in 1917. The Tunneling Theory describes the idea that some governments on Concantatus came together to test quantum tunneling, teleportation, and utilization of non-euclidean[1] geometry. The Subspace, in this theory, is stated to have been created from the errors of the tests during the experiments. This theory was made by anti-government groups in North America.
The Alternation Theory describes the idea of The Subspace being different for each person, that there are alternations to The Subspace from person to person. Some of the alternations that scientists have noticed include areas having a higher volume in ambiance, such as the buzzing of lights, and certain small communities and outposts existing for some people but not for others. This theory was made by Professor Joda Hawkins in 1889.
Time inside of The Subspace is drastically altered and fragmented. Time may run backward, speed up, or slow down at any moment in the Subspace and can access all time periods in different worlds and planets. People in the present, past, and future could end up in The Subspace.
Each new area of The Subspace is classified as a Level, Area, or Floor. There are thousands upon thousands of levels in The Subspace, most of them being undiscovered. Each area has its own look, properties, and geometry. All areas are theorized to be on an infinite plane.
