Welcome to the official ToyHouse world for the semi-closed species known as Labri! Here, you will find everything you'll need to know about the species including lore, traits, current and past events, any relevant announcements, and the link to join the official Discord Server.
Labri are creatures of magic — condensed magic that has gained its own sentience, which then creates a body for itself or takes over an outside body for its own use. Their city, once ruins of an old kingdom, is located underground beneath an expansive labyrinth, where the magic is dense and strong. Their name — Labri — is derived from the original name of "labyrinth dwellers" the outsiders gave them upon first discovering their existence, which has taken many forms since it has been coined before landing upon their current name.
Though primarily a peaceful species, the Labri are not people to be trifled with. Their species is resilient and powerful, a testament to their rough past before being united under the reigning family.

Traits
Labri are a type of condensed magic, who take their form after gaining sentience, or taking control over the body of an outside individual. They reside in a kingdom underneath a labyrinth, within caverns full of dense magic and energy. These forms and bodies can range from stable to unstable, in exreme cases or damage causing them to begin to crystallize.
In their regular stable form, they will always have the following traits:
✦ Horns
✦ An ornament (based on their elemental type)
✦ Colored limbs (which match the color of their blood and any markings)
✦ Tattoo-like markings/embedded gems
✦ Condensed magic blood
In addition, Labri can also become crystallised due to an excessive and uncontrollable amount of magic, causing crystal-like formations over the body.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I make my own Labri?
First time owners will get a free common MYO slot when they join. However, this design must be approved if you wish to have them added to the masterlist. If you want to make any more Labris, you must purchase another ticket. You can read more on MYO slots in the Terms of Service.
How do I obtain MYO slots?
MYO tickets can be obtained by either purchasing through the store, or through raffles/events. Alternatively, you can purchase or trade MYO tickets with another member as long as it is done through the species currency.
How do I earn currency?
Currency can be earned mostly through events and prompts. We will frequently post bulletins with prompts, which you can earn currency by submitting drawings and/or writing; you can either post this in the bulletin, or our prompts channel in the discord server.
Do I have to join the Discord server to make/own a Labri?
Nope! Although we encourage people to join the discord server to stay up to date with events, it is entirely optional.
Do I have to follow the species lore when making my character?
Not at all! We don't want to restrict anyone with what they can do with their characters- you are more than welcome to have Labri in other worlds and stories.
Can I add something not listed in the traits list (i.e. features from a fictional species)?
It depends on what specific trait you want to add, however you are always able to ask a staff member before it gets approved. In most cases, we will likely reject any additional trait additions as we may have plans to use it for a future event!
Terms of Service
As a Semi-Closed Species, all members will recieve a common MYO. After this has been used, members must obtain a MYO slot either through purchasing it with species currency or USD, entering events, or raffles. These slots have no expiry date and can be regifted or traded- unless the MYO has been purchased with USD (in which you can sell it for an equal amount as you paid).
Only Staff and Guest Artists are allowed to create and sell original Labri, although a member can resell/regift/trade a design they own as long as it is an approved design and it follows the original designer's TOS.
Labri have their own setting, lore, and world, however they aren't restricted to these locations as long as the base lore remains. You may make AU or other CS versions of your Labri character, however you cannot submit anything related to other CS versions for prompts. Please notify a mod and original designer if you have intentions to create a separate CS AU for your Labri.
If your character/design changes ownership, please let a member of the staff team know so we can update the masterlist.
