Post-Apocalypse

After a huge flood, most of the surface of Earth had been completely covered in oceans worth of water. Even for cities/countries/continents that weren't flooded, the damage was so bad, nobody could live there any longer and nature took the cities back. Now, 98% of the Earths surface is water, and a majority of the rest of it is too dangerous and uninhabitable for people to take back.

With such a disaster, many of the gods and goddesses are rendered useless and go into hiding, search for a new place, or simply just wither away. However, water-type deities are flourishing, with more and more coming to life every day.

One of the only hospitable places left is a medium sized, ocean side (previously inland) city with a mere 20,000 citizens. Though the world around them has crumbled, they live a peaceful life, rebuilding the fortunately small amount of damaged buildings and roads that fell victim to the aftermath.

While they have no contact with any other surviving cities, or any way to tell if there are anymore, they often have lone survivors or small groups find their way to the city.

Despite being post-apocalyptic, the citizens don't have to worry about surviving or food, as the city was already a well established farming city. All food there is home-grown and raised, and hella fresh. The entire city is also run off of solar panels, and is small enough to have its own functioning wells for water, so they have running water as well. Life is just as it was for most.

The city quickly became known as "Titan" to most, because it stays standing and survived even through the worst of the flood.

Gods and deities often stop by to check on Titan, even water-type, as they're mostly kind and sympathetic for the creatures and people that live in the surviving cities. It's rare that a god will reveal itself as such to the citizens, and even rarer that a god will stay there.
