Welcome To Spore Hollow.
By participating in this community and its species through DeviantArt, ToyHouse, Discord, or related platforms you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you disagree with any of these Terms you may not use or participate in its community or activities.
Age Requirement
- All users must be 18 years or older to participate. By joining or intersecting with the community you confirm you meet this requirement.
Species and World Ownership
- All species, systems, lore, and world building belong to the group SporeHollowWorld and the group's owner.
- Users fully own their individual characters but not the species itself and should not claim so.
Ownership of Official Spore Hollow characters
- Designs are only recognized as official if properly documented by our Masterlist.
- Co-owning characters is not permitted and will not be recognized by the group.
- Toyhouse profiles alone do not count as official records.
- Species owners and moderators will never take a character away from someone. If a large enough dispute happens with no clear resolution the Spore Hollow character may be marked as “unofficial”.
Design validity and rule compliance
- All characters included in this group must meet their specific species‘ official design and creation rules.
Unofficial characters
- Cannot participate in official activities, quests, prompts, events, or gain rewards.
- Cannot be submitted to official community spaces, group galleries, or the masterlist.
Trades, sales, and transfers
- All transactions must follow Spore Hollow rules.
- Scamming, chargebacks, fraud, or manipulation are prohibited and anyone found doing so may be banned/blacklisted.
- Staff may review situations but are not responsible for enforcing, completing, or refunding transactions.
- Monetary transactions should be completed using “goods and services” rather than “friends and family” if the option is available.
- All trades, transfers, and exchanges are conducted at the user’s own risk.
Spore Hollow and its staff are not liable for
- Scams or failed transactions.
- Payment disputes or chargebacks.
- Lost currency, characters, artwork, or items.
- Issues caused by third-party platforms or payment services.
- Selling or trading an Official character to a banned or blacklisted user will automatically void the character’s Official status, being marked as unofficial and removed from all community spaces. Knowingly doing so will get the seller a warning or a ban.
Official Sale rules
- Any Spore Hollow character can be resold for any amount regardless of original price except for; free raffles, Make Your Owns, and prize awards which may be sold at 20$ or less.
- Unused MYO or Make Your Own slots cannot be traded or sold.
Changes to Terms of Service
- Spore Hollow may update rules, species guidelines or systems at any time.
- Changes may affect participation or design requirements.
- Continued participation means you accept these updates.
Right to refuse service
- Spore Hollow reserves the right to refuse participation, access, or service to any user at staff discretion.
- Removal from official spaces does not transfer ownership of a user’s personal artwork or characters.
Spore Hollow and its staff are not responsible for
- User disputes.
- External platforms or services.
- Technical issues.
- Losses related to participation.
Spore Hollow is a structured creative community built on collaboration and respect. These rules help keep the space fair and organized.
