A world of beings slightly different from human beings in their own ways but share the same appearance. These are beings that inhabited abilities from their parents, whether they be a mix of the ability or the ability itself. The abilities were blessed upon them by both the Stars and the Moon. These beings with abilities are referred to as "Star Children" or "Moon Children" despite their age. However, there are differences between Star Children and Moon children that are both physical and mental.
Star and Moon
Star Children
A Star child is typically a lot calmer than their Moon counterpart. They have pure hearts and usually have good intentions. They sometimes are neutral when a conflict arises, but if needed they can stand their ground and protect the things they love. Star children are considered the Light of the two, though they are a lot like normal humans. All Star children have these eye colors:
- Green
- Blue
- Brown
- Pink
When a Star child is claimed and their original eye color isn't listed, their eye color changes into a specified color (which is rare since they are most likely born with the color). Once claimed, their personalities don't change but they do gain a sense of good and evil, and they try to stray from evil; however it doesn't always prevent them from doing evil deeds (such as killing, stealing, etc.) but they are highly repulsed by it and could feel immense guilt when committing these deeds.
Moon Children
Unlike Star children, Moon children are wild and unpredictable. They thrive off discord and their thoughts are normally consumed by evil. Though similar to Star children, they can refrain from committing evil deeds and stay in the neutral zone; however they do get plagued by thoughts of evil which can be annoying from time to time. Moon children also have their own set of eye colors that are limited to:
- Red
- Gold
- Purple
- Black
When a Moon child is claimed their eye color changes into a specified color since every star/moon child is born with either a Star child's eye color or a grey color. Once claimed they instantly feel a rush of insanity in their mind, its an overwhelming feeling that makes them want to harm something or someone. Though it only lasts for a minute, the thoughts of evil will always linger in their mind; though its ultimately their choice to act on them or not. Moon children usually represent one major sin, though not necessary they do carry sin. Plus most don't care much for morals nor virtues. They typically live in their own world with their own rules, so they are considered rule/law breakers. Moon children are the Darkness of the two.
The Two is Three
Star and Moon children don't co-exist due to their differences. Star children live on their island called Star Island, a place where they can live freely without the threat of ordinary human's getting in their way. Since Star children are semi-outcasted by ordinary humans and viewed to be abnormal. So they live on the Island to learn how to control their abilities at a young age or simply live out their lives. Some can move back onto the mainland once they become of age and aren't deemed a threat to society.
Moon children, on the other hand, spend their days either in the shadows of the mainland or on a separate island nearby Star Island. The small island is respectfully called Moon Isle and is constantly in the shadows due to Star Island's mountains covering their sunlight. The children would nickname the dark Island "Nightmare Isle" where all the nightmares live, nightmares being a nickname for Moon children. Due to their instability and spontaneous actions they are pretty much living nightmares. Moon children are very vicious and everyone is warned to stay away from them so everyone does... However there are Moon children that are stable and can coexist happily with Star children and ordinary humans, though its a rare site but they do exist.
There is also one other type of Star/Moon child though they are very rare; an Eclipse Child. A being of both Star and Moon, light and dark, good and evil, all in one. These can decide what they truly want to do with their lives without being plagued by insanity nor feel the repulsion of committing evil. However, there isn't really anything that truly makes them any different than Star and Moon children since they are simply the two combined. Claimed by both or neither. Eclipse children have two different eye colors, one of the Stars and the other of the Moon.
