Kegtoko are one of the greater species in the world, along with Humans, Winged, and Lizos. The greater species are the equivalent of humanoids and make up society, living similar to how our real world runs.
Appearance
Basics
Kegtoko have an appearance looking kind of like humanoid dogs and cats. Their most notable appearance is their thick fur that they have. The fur can have different patterns, including spots, stripes, two-tone, or a mix of those. Most fur colors are more natural colors you would find on animals, but there have been some with more blue or red colors in their fur.

Paws and Claws
The hands and feet of kegtoko have retractable claws on them. These claws, while good weapons, are more used for gripping when they are climbing, as they don’t have pads on the hands. These claws work similarly to cat claws, and need to be sharpened regularly just like them.
Fluffy Tails
This species also notably has long and fluffy tails. These tails don’t have the abilities like a Lizo’s tail has, but it helps in their own way. Kegtoko are very acrobatic creatures, and as such, their long tails help them balance as they climb various objects and across narrow ledges. The tails are also especially fluffy, and are used to keep themselves and their young warm in earlier times, though some still use it for warmth to this day.
Attributes
Running speed
The Kegtoko are not able to use any of the elemental powers, instead, their lithe bodies make them able to be much more acrobatic, and they are fast, tending to use both their hands and feet to run much faster than any of the other species can, being able to reach up to 30 mi/hr (aprox. 48 km/hr.)
Acrobatics
As stated before, Kegtoko are very acrobatic. They use their lithe and slender bodies to be able to climb things, easily able to jump almost twice their height. They use their claws to grip and their tail for balance, giving them more mobility than almost every other species. This gives them an advantage if they ever need to fight or spar as that is common, as they can use strategy to tire opponents or confuse them.
History
Origins
It's very unsure of the origins of the Kegtoko. Some say they descendend from an ancient cat species, at some point breaking off into their own intelligent species. Though while they have some characteristics that are very similar to felines, they share very little dna with them, about the same amount a human shares. The only thing known for sure is that they existed before even humans learned elemental powers.
War Messengers
Many Kegtoko found work within the war between the humans and winged. Using their acrobatic skills, they found themselves being able to communicate between various war parties and deliver messages between them. And because it was impossible to tell which side a Kegtoko was on, they were often not injured, as to not risk hurting an ally.
Forcing Peace
Not all Kegtoko were content though. like a lot of Lizo, many Kegtoko found their homes destroyed and innocent lives hurt or killed within the crossfire of the war. Because of that, they joined in with the Lizo, helping to stop the war, and force the Winged and Humans to stop their fighting. While it didn't fully stop all the fighting, it helped ceased the ancient war.
