In Pokemagical Gijinkas, proof is necessary in order to use your characters. This guide will explain how proof works.
There are three different types of proof:
- Slot
- Approval
- History
These are all obtained in different ways. Slot and Approval proofs are handled by PokemonTrainerHaley (and found in the character's Terms of Use section) while History proofs are handled by the user and should be found on the design's profile.
Slot Proofs
Slot Proofs tell you that the character is a legitimate part of this world. They are obtained from the comment a slot is rolled/given in, and have the character page of the slot tagged. They do not, however, tell you if the design or any actions taken on the character are legitimate, as that is for the other types of proof.
Approval Proofs
Approval Proofs are proof that the design attached to a slot is valid. These proofs can be obtained by submitting a design to the Approvals Forum. They are given in the form of a pair of forum links - the submitted design, and the approval post. These should be obtained for every major design a character goes through, such as Evolution.
History Proofs
History Proofs are proof that a specific change to the character is valid. These are obtained when the action is confirmed, and should be added to the character's History tab with a short description of the event and a link to the confirmation post.
Some examples of good descriptions for History proofs are:
- Gained 10 EXP (Patrol)
- Gained 15 EXP (Prompt)
- Evolved into Sylveon
