Young disabled shut-in Nathan, the sole inhabitant of his house, fills the emptiness of his days by reading and writing stories; yet he feels far from alone.

Chaotic, mesmerizing voices and apparitions flood his mind, the line between his self and the outside, between familiar and foreign, confused and unclear.
Resurfacing memories, such as that of his dead uncle, confuse themselves among the noise. But one of the voices drowns out all the others when it permeates the atmosphere: that of a blurred white childlike figure, that beams into him images of immensity, eclectic lucid dreams, rich synchronized emotions, prospects of minds unbound, merging with the white...

The only way he can exorcise the noise in his head: writing down the streams of thought, and trying to decode them.

Buzzing in the emotive miasma of Nathan's bedroom is the system of Psiridea, elusive phenomenon that intensifies the vividness of his thoughts and dreams as if filling the air itself with them, and creates a shared mindspace between the floating, wandering consciousnesses of those connected to it.
And as the disorganized scrawls on his notebooks reveal to him, the white figure is deeply in tune with it, and has dimensions of information to whisper to him — like the forewarnings of a tattered young traveler who'd later be found unconscious on the outskirts of his town.

Nathan's meeting with that traveler is just the beginning of a cascade of intense self-rediscoveries and reconnections for an unlikely quintet and the spirits of their mentors. Pushing the depth of their interactions with Psiridea, they'll gradually realize their role in the persisting tensions surrounding its behavior and existence, and rely on each other to find deeper understanding, healing, closure and peace of mind — that of Nathan, of everyone else, and of the system of Psiridea itself.
