Meet Thomas Justin O’Malley, a seemingly average young adult.
He’s 20, attending the fictional Mohr University of Georgia as a Digital Arts student with a keen eye for graphic design, a Taekwondo practitioner and he’s a huge fan of Japanese Tokusatsu shows! (Power Rangers/Super Sentai, Ultraman, etc.)
Big or small, solo or as a team, it’s always been a lifelong dream to be like those brightly colored heroes that graced the TV screen (or pirated internet torrents in his case)!
Of course, he’s just an average Joe. There’s no way he’d be able to leap through the air to destroy a monster of the week with one mighty kick or combine a team of giant animal robots to form an even bigger robot...Or so he thought.
One night during a freak thunderstorm, a red bolt of lightning struck him as he saved a kitten from getting ran over by an 18 Wheeler. When he woke up, Thomas was in another world, the world of Alterra. He had been transported to the Kingdom of Infinia, a land where medieval high fantasy collides early turn of the century technology.
Meeting with Infinia’s ruler, Her Majesty Queen Leotra the 5th and her Headmistress of Magic, Wandra Starlight, Thomas is informed of his destiny. He was summoned to Infinia to become the new leader of the Knightdan, a team of royal transforming Knights who call upon the powers of the Elements to vanquish evil from the land.
The summon couldn’t have happened at a better time either, as Leotra informs Thomas of late Great Oracle Franklin’s final message, warning the Queen and her subjects of a slowly approaching evil that threatens all life across Infinia and the rest of the planet even. If she wants to ensure a peaceful future for all the next generation of Go-Knight needs to be assembled ASAP.
Hesitant at first to accept such a colossal task, Thomas takes up the mantle of Lightning Knight Red so he can live out a fantasy that seemed impossible for so long!
Now hopping between our reality and the realm of Infinia, Thomas must protect the kingdom while balancing school life and finding four candidates willing to help him protect Infinia from the evils of the Brotherhood of the Skull…
