Welcome to Apocalypse Dogs, a group about roleplay during the post apocalypse! Anyone is welcome, however the RP may at times include dark themes and possibly other mature content. If you are sensitive to death, disease, and other gritty realities of the post-apocalypse, this group may not be for you.
We allow a large host of species, including both anthro animals and humans/humanoids. That being said, magic is NOT common in this RP and most magical characters will be asked to be played without any magic. Exceptions may be made depending on the characters. If you have a feral character, you may play it as long as it may be played anthro. Characters in this RP use weapons and wear clothing! Animals also exist in this setting and are not intelligent beings.
The Story so Far
It is over a hundred years after the zombie outbreak. Settlements dot the world of living beings, but the majority of the Earth is dominated by zombies. The diseased undead wander the wasteland, forever hungry and never resting. They can be killed, but do not seem to die on their own. There have been stories of zombies that still retain their humanity, but few have ever seen them. Even rarer are half'zombies, born of the unholy union between zombie and undiseased female. Only a few are known to exist. One of the few is Khai, leader of the Alpha Camp. The alpha camp lives on the outskirts of a large decrepit city. Their settlement is walled off and holds being of all kinds. Though Khai is largely accepted by the group, despite his grotesque appearance, he mostly remains outside of camp patrolling for the threat of the undead. Within the camp, tensions are high but they are safe. Most of the time.
