Overview
Tamers in Mechrit must take care of their creatures, as well as knowing how to pilot their mech forms. This is accomplished through a variety of means, all centering around the Pilot Suit.
Pilot Suits
Mechrit Tamers undergo a special process upon piloting a mech-form Mechrit for the first time. This process forms a Pilot Suit around the Tamer, which is generally based on the Mechrit which created it. This suit can help them pilot any mech-form Mechrit, and is crucial in combat both in and out of a mech.
Pilot Suits have a few main components, these include the connection points, mask, and helmet - all others can vary widely. The connection points are used for piloting, and can create a full link between the mech and pilot. Mask styles vary, but always cover at least the eyes and include an LED-style display to convey information. Helmets vary in design with masks, but generally they cover at least the back and sides of the head, as well as including further connection points and a speaker (so the Tamer's voice is audible). A Pilot Suit is a biomechanical construct built on top of a Tamer and fully integrated into their body. As such, they have full control and sensation on it.
There are a variety of classes of Pilot Suit, each with different weapons, skills, and more. Each Pilot Suit also has an element that it can generate for use in combat. This is generally set by the Mechrit which created it.
