Additionnal informations

Varveleil... Probably one of the biggest creature of Bothea. And it can fly. Beware, Iyevat. It's more powerful than you can imagine.

Depending on the region of Bothea, and how they are perceived by the local population, they can bear different names:

- Velilkua (winged reptile)

- Varmatia (wild death)

- Kuanikoda (scaled coqueror)

- Varveleil (wild glider)

In general, a Yevat will avoid Varveleilem. While these creatures tend to be deified, they remain incredibly dangerous. Luckily, Varveleilem tend to not appreciate Yevat's meat.

Their bodytype do not vary a lot.

They can be male (nose tip pointing out), female (nose tip poiting back), or in between (perpendicular nose tip.)

Nose tip can have funnier shapes, only the tip orientation matters.

They can have any horns, but bald ones arent rare either.

There's no specific number of breathing vents.

Paws always have 4 toes. Claws can be bigger.

Jungle ones tend to be smaller than desert ones.

Jungles ones can spread a thin smoke of acid up to a few meters in frond of them, killing anything breathing it, and which is very corrosive.

Desert ones can breath fire. If the sun doesn't kill you, the flames of a Varveleil can!

They all live at the surface of Bothea. The undergrounds are too tight for them.

Diet - Carnivorous, but picky. Can search for the perfect prey for days.

They are one, or two, per territory. When they are two, they are a couple. Couple are not always male + female, and can be homosexual.

When a Varveleil wants to mate, it spreads its "second wings", the colorful ones, and projects hormones in the air.

In general, a couple will stay together until they lay an egg. Then, they'll protect the egg together and the male will hunt to feed its female, then the baby. When their child learn how to fly, the couple leave the small Varveleil and will continue their life separately, maybe searching for another mate. However, they often let their territory to their child, and never claim it back.

They seem extremely intelligent. They do not talk, but they seem to understand what Yevats say. Some theories says that they could communicate through telepathy, and hear one's thoughts without efforts.

A Varveleil hatched in the jungle will more likely be able to secrete acid from its mouth; while one hatched in the desert will certainly breathe fire. They also seem to always have the winds in their side, and theories say they could control the wind flows, and even create tornadoes.

Only only very rare cases, a Yevat can ride a Varveleil. Two Yevats riders, some legends on Bothea, once revealed their secret.

The first, Voitglarel, admitted that he found a Varveleil egg and managed to steal it. He took care of the egg until it hatches, then raised the baby dragon until he could ride it. This exploit is very rare; in most of the case, Yevats are devoured by the parents before they can steal any egg.

The second, Anikodabelet, explained that she found a heavily hurted Varveleil. The poor beast must have lost a territory fight. She approched the dragon with meat, healed it, then she gained its trust. As a thank you, the beast became hers.

It is possible to befriend a Varveleil. But it is extremely rare... and really, really dangerous. However, if you manage to have a Varveleil in your side, and enter a town with it, you'll immediately be considered the same as Velilyevats: gifted by the FATHER. Deified.

Varveleil are a closed species.
You cannot make your own unless you possess a MYO slot.
Varveleil are considered the same as Yevats and Velilyevats, and will generate Yevatokens whenever you'll draw one. (Unlike the fauna and flora.)
Unique traits and powers can be applied to Varveleils too.
