Exploration Move

ScorchBreeze has always had problems setting down. First her Life as a kitty pet at a farm didn’t suit her anymore. Yes her life had been easy and relaxing. She’d spend her days running after the chickens and hunting mice only to let them go. The repetitive days and stale kitty pet food just didn’t fit her any more. Not to mention the name they give her. Kitty!? Like really, they couldn’t find a more creative name? Lately the tiny two legged wouldn’t stop pulling her tail with her sticky hands and she just couldn’t take it anymore. 

She’s always been the one for adventure. So she threw herself into it. Stumbling alone into the woods she came across what seemed like a gathering of cats. She’s heard stories of them before. The wild brave cats blood hungry creatures. Grove clan is the first of them she stumbled upon. Of course she’d never admit to them that she’s a kitty pet. When she arrived she heard the other cat naming themselves after the things surrounding them. She’d have to improvise. Remembering her pelt and feeling a breeze, well that’s it. ScorchBreeze. What a humiliation her life had been compared to them. They seemed to despise kitty pets. Her carefree spirit felt trapped in Grove clan. All the training always made her exhausted, not to mention the way CrowTail and OakEars would glance at her. So again she wandered off. This damp forest was not for her. 

Finally she made her way to the Mesa clan. They took her under their wing and made her feel right at home. The warmth of the sand and the long calm days in the sun is just what she needed. She felt at peace here and she thinks she’ll stay here for a while. There are still lots of new things to explore. First patrol out as a warrior she got to see a cactus. She’d never seen one before and the bright green mystery was calling to her. She couldn’t help herself. She snuck off from patrol to study this new item. What would be her first instinct when seeing a new item?  Well lick it of course.
