Millions of years before humanity, magical giants had roamed the earth. Their remains, after fossilisation, now takes the form of an iridescent metal. This metal can be found in many sites all over the earth.
Saint's Bone, as it is referred to by St. Murmanalians, was discovered by (the....founder ? of st. murmanalia?) and mined as if any other metal. It wasn't until it started to show strange properties, once melted into a flowing liquid. Compasses flew in every direction, some items would pull towards the metal, some would push far away, the fumes evoked strange, brief sensations in the people around them. The metal's strange properties piqued the interest of the mining company, and experiments to further the understanding of this material ensued.
With these experiments, came the first cases of long exposure to the metal's fumes. Strange abilities and sensations would linger even longer than usual, showing itself in near magical abilities
