Dryads

Dryads are a small species of plant people who live in harmony with nature. Their body a combination of human flesh and plant material, they are a resilient species with many subspecies and races. They live in small communities in forests, opting to forego the technological advancements all over the world but not rejecting contact with the outside world.

In recent years, disease has been infecting the various dryad populations, and with the planet heating up, many can no longer reproduce without the help of modern society's technology. To survive means to find a way to heal the population and a solution to their dwindling numbers.
