In Anteras, mythical creatures and mortal humans co-exist. All mythological creatures and folklore monsters exist, appearing as normal human to those who's eyes are not opened. Mortals whose eyes have been opened, either by a traumatic experience with a mythical, or naturally due to age, are called Awakened. They have the ability to see mythicals for what they truly are.
