Nolara in an AU Homestuck world where Trolls and humans have coexisted for centuries
Long ago, trolls and humans were separated and often were at war with each other. Humans ruled by governments or kings and queens, and trolls under a single fuchsia blood. Times were different and tough. Relationships between trolls and humans were looked down upon, and could even get you killed. Fuchsia's were forced to take the throne, or would be culled if they refused. Sea dwellers wanted nothing to do with land dwellers. Purple bloods were sent to kill the enemies in a rampage. Limes were killed after trying to reason with the high bloods.
All that changed when a kind fuchsia took the throne. She made peace with the humans, and trolls and humans slowly started living together in peace. The high bloods didn't take it very well at first. Fuchsia's were still forced to take the throne, violets stayed in the waters, and purples were still known as murderous villains. The limes that hadn't been killed off hid their blood color in fear of going extinct, and some still do to this day after hearing all the stories.
In recent times, things have changed for the better, even for the high bloods. Fuchsia's are given a choice to lead, violets are sometimes seen on the land, and purples have calmed down. The stories still scared those of lower blood castes, so a good number are wary of the higher ups. Limes have started showing that they really do still exist, even if they're quite rare to be seen showing off their color. The current fuchsia hopes to stop the wariness so everyone can get along.
