First Things First
Remember How To Edit Your Character?
Before Using HTML
Make sure this button on the top right is turned off. It's a rich text editor, and while it's handy for general text editing, it can and will break any instance of html you use. It will break your templates. It will break your links. Nothing is safe. Save yourself a lot of headache, and make sure it is off. It'll look like this when it's off.
The Necessary Bits
- Full Name, your character's full name. Should match the folder name.
- Nicknames, everything your character answers to.
- Username, the name your character uses on the IC forums, in the IC chatbox, and in messengers.
- Age, your character's official age. Don't put Immortal, put the actual age in years, or "unknown."
- Birthday, Month and Day. Year isn't necessary.
- Height, in feet and inches.
- Gender, their presenting gender identity.
- Pronouns, the pronouns your character uses. Do NOT put "any," list them out.
- Orientation, romantic and sexual.
- Race; beast, feral, human, mythos, or hybrid. Read about them here!
- Breed, your specific beastie(s). If you're human, then put your human race, ie, Native American.
- Occupation, what does your character do for a living, or are they a student?
- Appearance, a written appearance. This is important for users who may not be able to view images for any reason, so don't refer to them when describing.
- Personality, detailing what kind of person your character is.
- Background, your character's backstory and what shaped them into where and who they are today.
- Abilities, everything your character is capable of doing, be it general skills and talents or magic abilities.
