Gilded Cafe's Bulletins
Hewwo everyone! It's been awhile and we're very sorry about the radio silence. We've been working hard on both species this time and we're finally at a place to reveal our progress!
We'll be merging Gilded Cafe with Tomomori Valley, to prevent confusion and to keep things simpler for us. We'll also be leaving Toyhou.se as our main hub and moving to our own site, tomomori-valley.com. It's built with Lorekeeper so users will have their own accounts and submissions/shops/gachas/etc will hopefully be less of a hassle!
We've moved the species, masterlists, and item catalogues. User banks will be moved upon request after the user has signed up and verified their account. We'll also slowly be migrating everything from Gilded Cafe Toyhou.se/DeviantArt/etc. to Tomomori Valley Toyhou.se/DeviantArt/etc.
You can help by moving your Gilded Cafe Toyhou.se World characters to the Tomomori Valley Toyhou.se World.
Sign-ups are currently closed, we will be cycling in members slowly, as to not overwhelm the site. We'll make an announcement when we begin handing out registration codes. In the meantime, we will continue to use the Tomomori Valley Toyhou.se World for any updates to characters!
While we're still in the early phases of development, we ask that you double check ownerships and artist/design credits! If someone signs up and verifies with your old Toyhou.se username, the design will be credited to them on-site. We want to prevent this as much as possible!
We're already half-way through 2022 and we're feelin' pretty gay about it.
Since Art Fight is coming up next month, we've decided to cut down on the prompts so you don't have to break your fingers trying to do those along with character references!
After this event is closed, we'll be opening the shop for 2 weeks. It'll have MYOs, tokens, and lucky cats!
Masterlist
We've added an option to view all species at once on the masterlist! Hopefully this will lead to less confusion when clicking links that say 'Masterlist'.
Bunyum MYOs now have an image! Hooray!
Player Inventories
Player inventories have been slightly condensed and 'Owned Designs' have been added back in.
You can also create a Bank Card and register it to customize your profile a bit more with your favorite design, social media links, and profile themes (when they're released).
There's also an option to list your UFT/UFS designs on your profile as well! Note that they won't be listed on the main masterlist due to back-end limitations.
If you register before June 4th, you will recieve a free Bunyum Gotcha Token too!

There were a lot of changes, so please read carefully!
Site Update
Due to our former webdev's time constraints and our own budget limitations, we've decided to rebuild the site using Charadex. All information, and more, are still accessible but the links have changed significantly.
We've added an item catalogue, an anonymous help desk, and a proper event catalogue.
The faejin and konoki sheets have been remade and updated. Some of its information has changed, so be sure to check it out before submitting any new MYO designs. Details below.
Trinkets have also been removed and replaced with a more robust system of buns, hehe. More information below! Rewards for players will also be listed at the end.
Masterlist
The masterlist has also gotten a facelift! Species now have separate masterlists. You can cycle through types as well as find open adopts. We've also added links at the top of single entries so you can cycle through them easier!
Unfortunately, the links have changed. It's now : https://gilded-cafe.com/species/index.php?=[species name]?id=[species id]
Prices have also been updated. Some MYOs did not receive their extra $15 after the design was added and some traded/gifted designs still had their USD worth posted.
Voided designs will be removed from the public masterlist, but will still be kept in the logs.
We will no longer be tracking traits.
Species Update
Faejin
We've added some extra lore about their dragon forms and removed lore that hindered them, like their need for gold and expertise in electric magic.
A lot of restrictions have been removed, here's the gist:
- Horns & wings are now optional
- Feathers have been added to coat type
- Horns can be growing at every angle
- Legs and ears can be bare
- Less restrictions on markings
- Faces can now have slight muzzles
- Allowing round & slit pupils
- Allowing any colors for the eyes
- Removing gendered descriptions - your tails and horns are for everyone
Konoki
None of their lore has changed, we've only lessened the MYO requirements for ourselves and others. There's no need for a feral design or a trinket design and you are no longer bound by a theme when creating your konoki.
New Species: Bunyums!
New pets! These lil guys were made by Stew and his business partner, Jodie! They're pocket-sized companions for your enjoyment.
The only way to get an MYO at this time is by rolling in the Bunyum Gotcha. Everyone can roll once a week for free. Otherwise you will need to use a Bunyum Gacha Token or pay $3 for every extra roll.
There is a 10 pull pity system, meaning if you pull 9 and get no bun, then your next pull is a guaranteed win.
Bunyum will add +5 silver to any prompt they're drawn in. However, it must be your own bunyum in order to count!
New Character: Jodie
This man can not RIP in peace.
Jodie is a former necromancer. A spell he created in his youth went horribly wrong and now he's an immortal soul stuck in a mortal body.
Thanks to his research in preservation magic, he's no longer falling apart. And he has a job at the cafe, helping Stew preserve his bunyums.

Rewards
As an apology for the missing event and trouble caused, we've given everyone: 3 gold and 1 bunyum gotcha token!
As an apology to people who own MYOs, they've been given: 1 Brew of Metamorphose for every MYO they own.

Valentines Event
It's the month of love!! We have event & general news for yall~
It's time for another event!
The smell of chocolates and roses permeates the air as Valentines Day approaches. Everyone prepares for the special day their own way, whether its hyping themselves up to confess, setting up a nice dinner for their loved ones, or pampering themselves with chocolate and a good movie. We're excited to see how your character spends this special day!
Some more news
We will be trying out a bi-monthly schedule (meaning 6 events to a year) in order to work on other projects, so the next event after this one would be April! Thank you guys for your patience.
After this month's event, we'll be adding MYO's to the shop for a very limited time. However, we ask that you hold onto faejin slots until we update the design sheet <3 Chee's apologies for taking so long.

Happy holidays everyone!! It's been a wild ride but we're almost at the finish line. I hope yule be happy with what we have planned this December, to close off the year and welcome the good year of 2020 2022!
It's time for another event!
Its the time of year to huddle up with a nice cup of hot choco, and watch as the tree lights twinkle on the glittery ornaments. A time to reflect on the past year and wait for the new one with high hopes and high spirits.

It's Summer Time!
First and foremost, we had a great turnout in our last event and so we wanted to thank all who participated as well as all our mods who were a huge help! Hope everyone had fun, congrats to everyone who managed to snag themselves a konoki myo! In case you're not in our discord server or missed our announcement, all rewards have been distributed and should be available in your player banks.
If you're interested in buying a konoki MYO now that the event is over, they are now available in our shop for both gold and paypal, in normal and FTO prices.
Faejin and Konoki MYO sales will be rotating monthly from now on, so don't worry if you wanted to buy a fae, they will be back August!

Fireworks Festival Mini-Event
It's hot and sweltering outside but the sky is blue and the food is good at this town's little festival!
We're hosting a mini-event! Consider joining in on the fun and get yourself some gold, a trinket, and raffle tickets for the pretty new fae in town!
About Adopts!
We ended the weekly auctions and are going back to more normal numbers! But this month instead of multiple small adopt sets, we're doing one big flaffle set of 6 kids!!! Please look forward to them~
Small break in the near future!
In order to give us mods some time to prepare for future events and updates, we're taking August and September off from prompts & events! The store, information center, discord, etc will continue operating like normal.
New month, new patreon ad
Small reminder that Chee has a Patreon page! She will be posting art, various sketches, and other assets such as bases! Highest tier supporters will get to see WIPs of things her team and I are working on and perhaps even offer requests from time to time.
We'll be extending the event till June 30th 11:00 PM CST!

Konokis are finally coming HOME
And we will be hosting an event to welcome them! This event will also be a beta event of sorts, where we'll be testing some mechanics for this type of event we want to continue making in the future. Hope you guys consider participating!

Adopts galore~
On every Friday of the June, we will be posting auction Konokis!! Times of posting will be announced a day before, and there will be a 1 hour warning like usual
We will also be making some changes regarding the posting and claiming of adopts:
- From now on, adopts will only be able to be claimed through their respective TH post! While we will continue crossposting to dA, it will only be as a preview/announcement
- Flat priced mini adopts will be flat priced raffles instead, to give folk more time to claim and avoid sniping

Konoki MYO slots will be opening at the end of June, around the time the free event ends!!
