“Your  Phish-Keeper is swimming in their favourite patch of ocean, when out of  the blue something shiny catches their eye, hidden amongst the sea  floor sand! They swim down to take a peak and find some treasure, with  the most beautiful Pearl they’ve ever seen! Man, this was their lucky  day indeed!”

    For this prompt, we would like you to draw  or write about your Phish-Keeper finding a Pearl! This can be interpreted in any way you like, your P-K can take this Pearl back to their hiding spot, show it off to their friends or make it into something else entirely.

Your prompt entry must include the following:

    For this prompt, w we would like you to draw your Phish-Keeper with pearlescent colours!  They can be a sculpture, a piece of jewellery or their natural selves,  just a shinier version!

The MerMay event is back!

    For  this prompt, we would like you to mermaid-ify your Phish-Keeper in any way you like, and draw them in a setting of your choosing.

Your prompt entry must include the following:

• Your Phish-Keeper (or an NPC if you don’t have one)

• A Peal as described in the prompt

“Your Phish-Keeper found a Mysterious Egg on the beach and has chosen to take care of it! This Egg is fairly large and white, with light grey and beige speckling over its thick shell. It’s warm and seems healthy.”

    For this prompt, we would like you to draw  or write about your Phish-Keeper taking care of their Egg! This can be interpreted in any way you like, your P-K can make a nest to sit on with the Egg, carry it around with them, hide it and defend it from others, you name it!

• An Egg as described in the prompt

• Must be at least a halfbody & coloured (Art Entry)

“After taking care of the Mysterious Egg for so long, keeping it warm  and making sure it was well protected, your Phish-Keeper hears a  cracking noise and rushes to see what’s going on. They gasp as the sides of the Egg begin to split apart, showing the newborn to the outside  world.”

    For this prompt, we would like you to draw or write about your Phish-Keeper reacting to their Egg hatching! The hatchling can be of any species native to your Phish-Keepers location, or be a creature native to your Phish-Keepers Homeland.

• A hatched animal from your Egg

“It’s always nice to sit back and enjoy the sunny weather during the summer months, and Phish-Keepers love the sun as much as anyone else! What’s better than finding a peaceful vacation spot, hunkering down and letting the sunbeams dance across your scales? Not much!“

Draw/Write about your Phish-Keeper enjoying the sunshine in their favourite vacation spot!  Consider the location your P-K and their companion would find the most  relaxing for the summer, or send them to a spot they’ve never been  before as a bit of fun!

    “Everyone knows Phish-Keepers have a wide range of companion types. This means that they come in an even wider range of sizes to match! Fascinating!”

    Draw your Phish-Keeper with another Phish-Keeper of a different size! This prompt would work best with 2 P-K of vastly different sizes!

    “Maeve walked out of her research office into the bright sunlight and tipped her head back, stretching her arms out after a long morning of going through paperwork and answering emails from a neighbouring research board. Talks between the two research facilities were going well, and a possible collaborative project was in the works to expand their knowledge on Phish-Keeper intelligence! She was excited to see what that project had in store!


    After stretching for a while, she stood up and surveyed the stretch of beach and tundra that preceded the shallow forest behind her research centre. She had expected to see some of the local Phish-Keepers lounging around on the sand on such a glorious day, but instead the beach was unnaturally quiet and still. Her good mood quickly changed to one of confusion and she took quick steps away from her centre to survey the beach from a closer angle.


    She passed a cluster of bushes on her way down to the beach and paused as a rustling sounded beside her. She turned, only to be met with a large, squishy nose in her face and yelped, falling backwards into the sand. A Phish-Keepers face was poking from the bushes, keen eyes glinting in the light and keeping eye contact with Maeve as she caught her breath.


    Maeve chuckled. “Hey there Phishy, what’re you doing in there?” She spoke softly to the creature staring at her.


    It paused as several other faces poked out of the bush, crowding around the first with what seemed like anticipation. The first Phish-Keeper stepped out of the foliage and approached Maeve slowly, taking big, deliberate steps towards her. When it was within touching distance, it thrust its head forward to boop its snout against her forearm before turning rapidly and taking off down the beach, the others following behind it.


    Part of Maeve was whirling with confusion over what had just happened, but the scientist in her started replaying the events to see what had happened.

    She walked past the bush.

    She engaged in friendly behaviour with the Phish-Keepers in the bush.

    The first one touched her arm and then ran away.
    …

    Oh! They must be playing Hide and Seek, or an equivalent of that game anyway, and she must be the seeker they were waiting for!


    She wasted no further time, tying her hair up into a quick low bun and donning her favourite ball cap, she set to work on winning her first game of Phish ‘Hide and Go Seek’.


    This would be a great leading story at her meet up with the Animal Intelligence and Welfare Organisation.”


    For this prompt, we would like you to draw your Phish-Keeper/s hiding from our Land-Walker NPC Maeve! They can be in any environment, though she usually works near beaches and tundra’s. Your P-K can be hiding out of her field of vision, being found or running away from her after being caught, but Maeve must be present within your artwork!

MerMay is back!

 As of today, you can draw all your P-K as their mermaid, merman or merthey counterparts! 

This can be however you wish, with any proportions, headcanons or styles as long as they still resemble your P-K character in some way!

Each P-K automatically earns a ‘Mermaids Necklace’ for this event (unless they already have one) to partake in MerMay!  

I hope you all enjoy having some mermaid fun this month, as usual any questions can be asked in the ⁠discord or by dm'ing an admin.

They sigh wistfully and prop their head between their front feet, content to rest on the soft grains of the beach and think back to times past with fondness. ‘Those were the good days.’ "

Draw/Write about something relating to your P-K's backstory/Background. What we’re they like when they were younger? Have they had any adventures that they remember fondly?
For this prompt, we would like to to draw a scene featuring a P-K character of yours that best describes a period of time from their past, or shows an important event in their lives so far!

“A stick. That’s what this was, floating a little ways off in the surf. The surrounding Phish-Keepers were curious, eyes following the movements of this stick in the water with rapt attention. One of them, pluckier than the rest, decided they would claim the stick as theirs, and strode forward to grab it between their teeth. The others paused and, with friendly rivalry, made motion to defend this stick from the first P-K.  This, as it turned out, was the start of a brand new game: Keep-away! Each P-K would take their turn with the stick, and run around trying to keep the others from touching it. If someone managed to strike the stick, it was forfeited to the new ‘guardian’ and the game was reset. Many hours were spent playing that day, and all the P-K there got in a good amount of exercise!"
