We're a simple group from a simple World, but to keep things running smoothly here's some things we'd like all members to abide by!
General
- Keep to ToyHouse guidelines (obviously)
- Be nice to each other; if you find youself in conflict with someone please handle things maturely and respectfully or simply agree to disagree. In the case of breaking rules or site policies, please inform the World admin (QuazarStar) or politely inform the user if you believe they've simply made an error.
- Repeated violations or conflicts with other members will result in World membership being revoked and all characters removed.
Age & Mature Content Guidelines
- Keep to ToyHouse guidelines (obviously)
- EBAMTAR is a world that deals with mature topics and its creators are all adults. Members under 18 are discouraged, but not excluded as a hard and fast rule. If you are underage, please be respectful of NSFW flags and do not try to circumvent them, and be aware that EBAMTAR is generally considered an 18+ World and will contain mature content.
- To the adults: NSFW content is allowed, but you must mark it appropriately wherever ToyHouse allows you to do so. If you are unsure if something should be marked, err on the side of caution. Repeated failure to mark NSFW will be treated as a serious breach of rules and may result in being removed from the World.
- While we enjoy complex characters with questionable morality, please avoid creating content that is strongly racist, homophobic, or otherwise hateful towards real world groups of people.
- Use profile and forum post warnings wherever you feel it's appropriate, to mark content that others may not wish to see. This is a broad topic but generally TH users are very good at this, so I leave content warnings to your own judgement!
Lore & Character Guidelines
- Keep to ToyHouse guidelines (obviously)
- EBAMTAR has very little worldbuilding of its own but please stick to what there is! You can find general world info here, and info on vampires here.
- You character MUST maintain secrecy from humanity. ...but there may be minor exceptions. More detailed information can be found in the general world info in the sidebar.
- Creation of entirely unique creatures is discouraged: EBAMTAR is a world based on myths and legends, and new species that don't match this flavour aren't likely to be accepted, sorry! Loose interpretation of myth and legend is however encouraged, and many different varieties of the same thing may exist (e.g: werewolves that can change to wolfmen whenever they like, and werewolves that turn into wolves at the full moon may both exist).
- You may absolutely add one of your already existing characters or species to the World if you believe they fit! EBAMTAR is purposely designed very generically so that many things can fit within it without conflict.
- However, characters and concepts from popular media and copyrighted material are not allowed (canon characters, fan characters, etc.). Concepts deemed too similar to an already existing species or character may be declined.
These rules and guidelines may be updated at any time! If there's an important change, I'll post a bulletin about it. c:
