Terms of Service

The Ghostie community (Ghosties) is an accepting community regardless of personal background or beliefs, for this reason, we do not support any negativity.

• Be respectful to community members or any non-member who is interested in the species.
• Bullying, harassment, and other forms of inappropriate or harmful behavior are not tolerated under any circumstance. This includes gossiping and starting rumors.
• Do not engage with drama.
• Please keep personal disagreements, conflicts, and other issues between yourself and the other party.
• Discussions about controversial topics such as politics & religion should be held privately.
• Offensive, racist, or other triggering topics are not tolerated under any circumstance.
• Do not beg, harass, spam, guilt, or otherwise pressure Ghostie owners into selling, trading, or gifting their Ghostie, MYO ticket, Edit ticket, or potion to you.
• Do not beg, harass, spam, guilt, or otherwise pressure a Guest Artist into selling, trading, or gifting a design to you.
• Do not publicly call out or draw attention to any violations. Any potential rule violations should be reported to aikosato or the Ghostie staff.
• Do not act as if you speak for or represent the species, its owner, or its moderators.
• Do not use your status as a community member to bully, harass, pressure, guilt, or otherwise harm an individual who is not a current community member.

Moderators have their own set of behavior & etiquette rules that they must abide by. If a moderator is acting unprofessional in any capacity, please contact aikosato directly.

Disclaimer: Public statements made by another individual who is not the owner of the species (aikosato) belong to the individual and are not representative of the species. If you have been contacted unprovoked and inappropriately, please contact aikosato directly.

These rules may be occasionally updated or changed accordingly without prior notice to the community.

• MYO Tickets are required to create a custom Ghostie design. Tickets can be purchased during sale events or obtained for free during events, raffles, or giveaways.
• Designs should be acceptable for general audiences. You may commission artwork that is suitable to audiences 18+ of age.
• Designs that include offensive, inappropriate, or triggering themes or topics will not be accepted under any circumstance.
• Designs should not be controversial in nature.
• Do not copy another Ghostie owner’s traits or unique design elements without their explicit permission.
• Do not do not pressure a Ghostie owner or an artist into granting their explicit permission, allowing you to copy traits or design elements.
• You may create designs that are considered a twin, triplet, quadruplet, etc. of another Ghostie design so long as the original owner has granted explicit permission.
• Designs should follow the rarity assigned to the MYO ticket or upgraded MYO ticket.
• All created designs must be submitted to the Ghostie Masterlist for approval before being displayed, used for commissions, resold, traded, or gifted. You may submit your design(s) for approval by messaging GhostieMasterlist or by creating a ticket via the Official Ghostie Server.

• Minor edits to existing Ghostie designs such as color changes and new outfits can be made without an Edit Ticket or approval.
• Major edits that change the overall Ghostie design with exception to the traits, require approval to ensure the design is properly updated on the Masterlist.
• Edits to the Ghostie traits require an Edit Ticket and approval!

• Alternate universe or AU designs are allowed! However, cross-breeding is not.
• AU designs are characters who have more than one species version including any human, kemonomimi, or other open or closed species.

• Official, Moderator, and Guest Artist Designs purchased prior to November 2023 can be voided so long as the original artist has granted explicit permission to edit the design.
• Official, Moderator, and Guest Artist Designs purchased after November 2023 cannot be voided at this time.
• MYO designs can be voided at anytime.
• Entries for voided designs will remain part of the Ghostie Masterlist, however, all images of the Ghostie will be hidden and inaccesible for public viewing. This is so that the option to re-add the character to the species is available at all times for the current or new owner of the design.
• Owners of voided designs can continue to use either the Ghostie's ears or tail, but all other traits must be removed. By voiding a design, you are removing it from the species and are no longer able to use all species traits.
• Voided designs should no longer be listed as part of the species. You can mention that the design was voided when reselling, trading, or gifting designs to new owners in the event the new owner would like to add the design back into the species. It is recommended that you keep the previous version albeit hidden from public view.
• To void a design, please message GhostieMasterlist or create a ticket via the Official Ghostie Server.

• A design with ears that contain ghosts and a different kemonomimi tail are not considered to be a closely similar design.
• A design with a tail that happens to be a ghost is not considered to be a closely similar design.
• A design that is inspired by ghosts is not considered to be a closely similar design.

• You may co-own a Ghostie design with one other person.
• The masterlist must be updated with names of both owners.
• Any difficulties between co-owners must be resolved by the two involved parties.
• The design can only be altered if both owners agree to the changes. Changes made to the Ghostie's traits only one Edit Ticket is required. It does not matter which owner purchased or otherwise obtained the ticket.
• The design can have an AU version if both owners agree to the AU.
• You may resell, trade, or gift your portion of the co-ownership so long as the other co-owner agrees and the original artist allows it. The resale price is the half you paid to buy the design and price of the artwork you paid for. If you paid half for a commission, then the amount you paid must be added to the sale price or character worth.

• Vtuber models.
• Pngtuber/Giftuber models.
• Merchandise for an existing Ghostie design for vtubers, pngtubers/giftubers.
• Merchandise for stickers, prints, pins, or other merchandise expected of an artist or streamer.

• Merchandise for large scale products or businesses.
• Co-owned designs.

• Racism and other offensive behavior.
• Harassment or other forms of bullying.
• Depictions of violence or other criminal acts.
• Offensive statements that are political in nature or intentionally exclusive of other races, religions, age, disability, gender, etc.
• Pornographic material.

• Official, Moderator, and Guest Artist designs may be sold for their original purchase price unless otherwise stated by the artist.
• When reselling a design, please make sure the sale price is in the same currency in which you paid with.
• Character worth may be increased based on the purchase price of commissioned artwork.
• You are not allowed to sell a traded or gifted design unless it is for the purchase price of commissioned artwork you paid for.
• When selling, trading, or gifting a Ghostie design, please do not delete any additional artwork unless it is not allowed based on the artist’s TOS. If you remove any artwork, their associated prices must be removed from the final resale price or character worth.

• MYO Tickets can be resold for the original ticket price, traded for the same worth, or gifted free of charge.
• If a MYO Ticket was obtained via event reward, moderator reward, trade, or gift, it cannot be resold as no purchase was involved in its transfer.
• MYO Tickets granted during events or raffles cannot be upgraded to a higher rarity during the same event. You will need to wait until the next event or sale.
• You may purchase a MYO Ticket for a friend.
• There are no limits on the number of tickets purchased during MYO sale events.
• You are not allowed to resell, trade, or gift an MYO Ticket that was purchased or awarded for a period of 14 days.
• You are not allowed to trade or gift an MYO Ticket that was obtained from an event or raffle for a period of 30 days.

• Edit Tickets can be resold for the original ticket price, traded for the same worth, or gifted free of charge.
• If an Edit Ticket was obtained via event reward, moderator reward, trade, or gift, it cannot be resold as no purchase was involved in its transfer.
• You may purchase an Edit Ticket for a friend.
• There are no limits on the number of tickets you can purchase during sale events, however, they should not exceed the number of Ghostie designs you currently own unless it is a gift to a friend.
• You cannot purchase Edit Tickets for Ghostie designs you do not currently own unless it is a gift to a friend.
• You are not allowed to resell, trade, or gift an Edit Ticket that was purchased or awarded for a period of 14 days.
• You are not allowed to trade or gift an Edit Ticket that was obtained from an event or raffle for a period of 30 days.

• Upgrade Potions can be resold for the original potion price, traded for the same worth, or gifted free of charge.
• If an Upgrade Potion was obtained via event reward, moderator reward, trade, or gift, it cannot be resold as no purchase was involved in its transfer.
• You may purchase an Upgrade potion for a friend.
• There are no limits on the number of potions you can purchase during sale events, however, they should not exceed the number of MYO tickets you currently own unless it is a gift to a friend.
• You cannot purchase Upgrade Potions for MYO tickets you do not currently own unless it is a gift to a friend.
• If you resell, trade, or gift a purchased or awarded Upgrade Potion, the ticket or character it was originally associated with will decrease back to its original rarity.
• You are not allowed to resell, trade, or gift an Upgrade Potion that was purchased or awarded for a period of 14 days.
• You are not allowed to trade or gift an Upgrade Potion that was obtained from an event or raffle for a period of 30 days.

• Payments for MYO tickets, Edit tickets, Upgrade potions, and commercial use are accepted via PayPal invoice only at this time. Should another payment method become available, an announcement will be made.
• Accepted currency is USD only.
• Moderators and Guest Artists can select an accepted currency for Ghostie adoptables they have created when participating in special events.
• Refunds for MYO tickets, Edit tickets, Upgrade potions, and commercial use are not accepted unless agreed to by the species owner as this is a digital product that grants the permission to create a Ghostie design, edit the traits of an existing Ghostie design, upgrade the rarity of an already purchased MYO ticket, or use the design commercially. It is not a physical good nor does it require any shipping.
• Upon purchase of an MYO ticket, Edit ticket, or Upgrade potion, you will receive a ticket number or potion number.
• Commercial use is active upon completion of payment. However, all forms of usage must abide by the Commercial Use TOS.
• Refunds for Ghostie designs are based on the TOS of the artist of the design and are not the responsibility of the species itself.
