Arche is a city born of a dream, the dream of thousands of individuals: to be the architect of their own future, to be able to shape the fairest and most functional society possible.
Based on the principle that every citizen, every mind and every thought is a precious resource, everyone is invited to participate through the EDEN system.

Only a shadow is beginning to appear in this dream. The Black-Out, a tragedy that happened a decade ago, has altered people's confidence in EDEN. Many people became "disconnected" and were gradually ignored by the system.
On the eve of the second centenary of the city's existence, the situation is becoming increasingly tense: while some residents are still trying to heal the wounds of the past, others are disappearing at an increasingly worrying rate. In addition, 'ghosts' are beginning to haunt the city... people with no past, no future, no names.

Ankaa is "disconected". Since losing her parents in the Black-Out, she has rebuilt her life without EDEN. An unusual but amusing life of odd jobs, gambling, break-ins and burglaries. Until the day when, after one of her misdeeds, she finds herself at the scene of a murder, on which a message seems to be addressed to her, written in blood.
