『 Lore 』

There are two separate versions of Charmerry lore.

The Charmerry species resides in Yonami and is where most of the events for this closed species will take place; 'Yonami's Gift' is the in-universe lore.
However, if you would like to use Charmerry in a different setting, this is the altered lore for such at the bottom labelled 'At the Hand of Yonami'.

You do not have to use this lore. It is here just in case you do.

Yonami's Blessing

In the caves of the highest mountain, there resided a god.

The god was heralded as benevolent and kind, but was never seen to those who sung its ballads. It was content being hidden away;
after all, what good would it do for a god to show themselves to the masses. Chaos? Celebration? One could never tell.

And so, the god laid in slumber.

Then lighting struck. And thunder followed.

The god arose from their slumber to see the people at the foot of the mountain terrorized by their sibling, a god who had rampaged.
The path the other god had taken was blackened with smoke and fire.

The god could not let this pass.

Rushing to save the townsfolk, the god failed to realise that while they rested in peace, the other had done the unspeakable
to gain more and more power.

The first clash between siblings shook the ground.

The second, the god fell.

Laughing, the other was confident in their power, leaving the god to lay for their eventual demise.

But the god would not let their death be for naught.

With the last of their power, the god broke the orb at their tail and gave blessings for all to take on their form.
To be able to use powers they've manifested.

To defeat the god that they could not.

And so the Charmerries did.
