AT A GLANCE:

OVERVIEW:

Furotomos are hand crafted with a special form of magic called "Permafrost". It's a category of spells that can only be learned from those who were also taught. This magic keeps them cool and in-tact at any time of the day. Permafrost isn't just a cooling shield to keep a Furo's body in shape, it also keeps them alive for years beyond their masters. That's right, they're practically immortal! Immortal but not invincible.

The appearance and traits of Furotomos can constantly be changed via the Sugarush Shoppe ran by Armaros! Furos can use their Nievaros currency "Cherubies" to purchase new accessories! Cherubies, shortened to CB, can be easily obtained through games, art prompts, monthly events and more! Even talking in the discord server can get you CB! The only thing you can't change about a Furotomo is their base-flavor, as it's what's needed to make their biology in the first place!

LORE:

HISTORY:

At first there was none, then there was one. Armaros was the first Furotomo, crafted by a human mage who wished to wreak havoc on an already ruined land. Armos was created with the purpose of being a living, breathing war machine. While injured, his master had taught him the ways of Permafrost, for healing purposes, and how to duplicate the magic in his body. Hundreds after his master had died, Armaros lived alone in a deadland, so, he created a Furotomo using his knowledge of permafrost. He created Asmodeus, a Furotomo with the purpose of being his little brother. They were meant to be each other's companions but without a purpose, Asmo just got bored and started to wander.

As Asmo frolicked in the radioactive wastelands, he learned more about the species that managed to survive the war and was astounded to learn that life keeps growing even when all is practically dead. He brought this to his brother's attention and they decided, maybe they should work on bringing the environment back from the grave. Armaros once again used his magic to create more Furotomos, to help out with maintaining and rebuilding. THousands of years later, a community- No... A civilization was born! An entire species, Furotomos. That's how Nievaros came to be.

BASIC BIO:

Furotomos can never die of old age, which sounds pleasant until the only reason they're alive- dies. Despite being immortal, they can still die from "major damage". As you can see from their humanoid form, Furos have magic shell exoskeletons made of chocolate. They replicate the colors and feeling of natural human skin, however, it's much more sturdy! It could even catch a bullet depending on the distance! If a Furotomo were to crack, they would start to leak out their ice cream flavor, just like a human would bleed out. You can fix this by patching up their shell-skin with fresh chocolate, this causes body cracks or discoloration in skin!

They're born with purposes in mind. To become an owner, one must obtain a crafting kit. The only one who has and can mass produce these kits is Armaros. They're cute little, customizable bundles that come with accessories, toppings, permafrost shards and their core flavoring. While assembling their new companion, an owner must think of the life they want for their new friend. What their personality is like, their interests, what's their purpose? Their purpose will be coded into their personality. If their owner were to be a mortal that died, the reaction varies. They could have emotional attachment and lose interest in their purpose. They could lose interest in anything and everything, they could continue their purpose for the sake of their owner or they could discover a purpose for themselves. Ever so rarely will a Furotomo find a new owner.

TRAITS:

SINGLE SCOOP:

image0.png image0.png?width=645&height=645 image1.png

There is only one common flavor trait, the single scoop! It is one color, enough said.

Flavor traits determine the hair/fur/pelt colors of a Furotomo, whatever colors are found on this flavor will reflect on their design. You can't stray too far away from the original colors, the saturation should be similar to the original. Ex: blueberry ice cream is usually dark/dull purple, this means a blueberry flavored Furotomo cannot be electric purple.

There are two uncommon flavor traits, the first is the double scoop! The double scoop is any ice cream flavor with two colors. Regardless of whether or not the flavor is the same. You can also "swirl" two flavors together like chocolate and banana to make a "Choconana Swirl" flavor!

TOPPED SCOOP:

image0.png image2.png?width=645&height=645 image1.png

There are two uncommon flavor traits, the second is the topped scoop! The double scoop is any single colored flavor with toppings, like mint chocolate chip or cherry with chunks! The toppings that are automatically included in this flavor have to be on the ears AND tail, or in the case of feral/anthro, on the pelt, too!

WHIPPED EAR TUFTS:

image1.png image0.gif?width=645&height=645 image2.png?width=645&height=645

The last uncommon ear trait is the traditional whipped tufts! They're two cute swirls of whipped cream meant to replicate the fluffy tufts of animal ears!

Whipped tufts usually only come in one color, an off-white! Meaning it would have to be white, but could be shaded with any color. However, with the addition of the "Mystery Dye" item, you're able to make all sorts of colors! This item is not yet in stock but once it is, you can combine it with whipped traits to make a random color. Whipped tufts can only be one color.

There's only one rare flavor trait and it's the double top scooped! Double topped scoops are a combination of both double and topped scoop, meaning there's two colors and a topping that naturally comes with this flavor.

Flavor traits determine the hair/fur/pelt colors of a Furotomo, whatever colors are found on this flavor will reflect on their design. You can't stray too far away from the original colors, the saturation should be similar to the original. DEVIATIONS:

image0.png?width=645&height=645 image0.png?width=645&height=645 image1.png?width=645&height=645

Devation traits are it's own category and rarity, the possibilities are almost endless! Deviations can vary from extra limbs, different animal features or even a headless Furotomo... Which is kind of weird.

Deviations are a sculptable trait, meaning you need to have a deviation manual AND a chocolate sculpting kit, then and only then can you craft one. Deviation manuals can be obtained via games, like winning a bet with the Furotomo Discord Bot 7 times in a row in a 24 hour period. Monthly Prompts have two forms of entries, writing and art, meaning you can get two special traits each month if you were to do both and those come with sculpting kits, so you can use them right away! Doing six monthly prompts also gets you a free MYO.

Some deviation manuals can be given out during 24 hour events, the event being referenced is for a mythical trait but it's the same context for a deviation manual, on New Year's Eve you have 24 hours to submit a drawing of any form, sketch to full piece, and you'll win a free mythical trait! There are soo many more ways to gain deviation traits, this is just the tip of the iceburg.

SMALL TOPPINGS:

image1.png?width=645&height=645 image2.png?width=645&height=645 image5.png

Small Toppings, an uncommon trait, are every day sweets you can find at ice cream stores to decorate your ice cream! Things like cookie crumbs, popping boba, mini marshmallows, m&m's, skittles or gummy worms, the list goes on.

Just like real life, toppings are an extra step and aren't required to be apart of a Furotomo. Small Toppings vary and can be obtained through the shop using CB, our species currency. They can also be obtained during games, events and just by simply reacting to messages in the discord server! As of right now a Furotomo can only have one UC Topping at a time, these can be placed on the hair, ears, tails or all places!

LARGE TOPPINGS:

image0.png image4.png image3.png

Large Toppings, a rare trait, are sweets or food items you wouldn't usually see on ice cream, but, make total sense! Sort of! Sometimes these can be exaggerated fruits like Asmodeus' gigantic cherry topper or a giant macaron! things like wafers, cone slices, egg puffs, dango sticks, pocky, etc. are considered rare toppings!
