Elysviel Empire

temperate . resource-rich . militaristic

One of the most powerful nation in Acaivus, Elysviel's reach spans the entire south-west corner of the continent; bordered by Umistan to the north and Windelborg to the east. It is the second largest country in terms of landmass, but the most populous overall.

Due to its advantageous location, climate is moderately warm during the summer and cool during the winter. The soil here is also ideal for many essential crop and plant species, making Elysviel the leading exporter of food in Acaivus.

As an empire, Elysviel is split into several provinces ruled by their respective governors, all territories answer to a central goverment--the emperor. The current reigning household--House Elton--a family of pegasus Nemphia, has been in power for more than a thousand years since the founding of the empire. Previously known for its military conquests and bloodshed fueled by its vast need for resources and precious metals, the empire now focuses on technological innovation and magecraft; the results of which led to over a century of peace and prosperity for its subjects. Elysviel was also the birthplace of many arts and social movements, with some igniting similar reforms in other countries. It is currently the second-most technologically advanced nation in Acaivus, but its military prowess and spellcraft are second to none.

The provinces which make up Elysviel are divided by state lines, those with citizenship are free to travel between province to province, but tourists and potential immigrants require travel permits.

Boats are the primary form of transportation in Bellavie; the city itself is unreachable except by the means of air or water.

The University of Aurora is an international elite school for young Nemphia in training, and its campus makes up most of the land. Because of the expensive tuition fees, most students at this university are either from wealthy upper-class families or students who received scholarships for their exceptional magical potential. The campus itself is equipped with all sorts of goods and services a student may need; such as a "main street", where many festivities take place, a mall, multiple gyms, amusement park, movie theatre, outdoor pools, and etc. Each faculty have its own building where classes take place. There are also separate dorms for men and women; not all rooms and suites are equal however, as students can pay an extra fee to obtain a "luxury suite" for the duration of their school year.
