What is this AU?The Rooster Teeth Mutts Alternate Universe is an AU for characterizing members of Rooster Teeth, Achievement Hunter, and other RT properties as cartoony dogs. This is an open AU for anyone to contribute to at any time. If you prefer drawing animals, enjoy character design, are a fan of Rooster Teeth, or are just interested in seeing what would happen if RT became a bunch of good boys, this is the AU for you!

How Does this AU Work? The RT Mutts AU follows “MLP rules” as in - they are intelligent creatures and act identical to humans. They can speak, write, play video games, go to work, etc, with the only limitations being their canine anatomy (ie: they don’t walk upright, for example). You are welcome to depict them doing doggish things (barking, wagging tails), but they are not simple mindless beasts. Inspiration Mutts can be combined with multiple AUs. KiRAWRa's [Gavino and Mogar] are inspired by Minecraft fanon, but you can feasibly create other Gavins and Michaels based on FAHC, Kings/Royalty, Xray & Vav, and other AUs or RT shows. Source Material You may create mutts based on any RT personality, character, show, concept, AU or lore, even if they already exist! Remember to be courteous of other creators - don't steal their ideas or designs. Be creative and come up with your own unique interpretations! Shipping This is a pro-shipping AU! You are welcome (and encouraged) to engage in shipping activities involving the characters you create, and other people's characters (as long as you have their permission). Any adult-themed art or writing should be properly tagged and censored. History

The two founding mutts, [Gavino and Mogar], were created in 2018 as Darkkys called Team Nice Darkky-Mite, as part of the [Inside-Darkkys-Mind] Deviantart group. Darkkys are stitched canine-like characters originally created by LupisVulpes as her OC, Darkky, and his Duplicates. Darkky and the concept of them are now owned by TytoNoctis.
In May 2019, the species was renamed Duskky, and a new group, [TheImaginaryMind], accompanied the change. TNDM was renamed Team Nice Duskky-Mite.
In December of 2019, Imaginary Mind admins attempted to implement anti-shipping rules for Duskky characters (which they quickly retracted). To avoid future rule changes and other complications, Gavino and Mogar underwent slight design changes and were de-Duskky'd. They are no longer affiliated with Imaginary Mind and are now "original characters" called Team Nice Dyna-mutt. All future artwork will be tagged as part of the #RTmuttsAU.
