He's been silent since the Outbreak.
A plague has struck Cogorroth, a malady some call a curse, or even a result of divine intervention. It strikes seemingly at random, across towns and counties, and so far, nobody can seem to stop it. Those afflicted are transformed, starting usually from a limb or torso, and as the illness clambers across the body, it leaves unmistakable features - those of an animal. For some it spreads slower, for some quickly, and lack of certainty as to where it comes from drives people to fear and superstition. The afflicted can often be shunned, avoided, or cast out of town entirely. By the end of it, many people seem to take on the mentality of whatever animal they seem to have become, losing all sense of their previous selves.
