Ringing Hounds are the first iteration of Charms. They are canine based, having Fire around their necks, legs of smoke, & incense of any smell. They come in many sizes & can change shape as necessary. They share characteristics of canines outside of anatomy as well, such as certain habits, attitudes, & readiness to learn. They have notable physical abilities such as strength, speed, & jaw strength.

Ringing hounds are the most common form of charm while also being the most  versatile out of the types. They are canine like but don't quiet lean towards any certain breed.  They can come with a number of ear shapes  & such.

Chirin charms protect their masters from physical and supernatural threats. They come to life once the owner marks its tag & strikes it. The mark can be any picture, word(s), or carving. Once it's struck on any surface, the hound with bond with its master and would never leave their side even if discarded or broken. Generally, they seek out masters of the same gender. Due to this, females tend to be larger than males. Typically females are favored by inhuman creatures & "bad" people. Males with female masters also tend to be larger. Masters with higher spiritual power will have larger hounds.

Sizes:

These charms have a range of sizes they can become. small being the  size of a small dog, normal being the size of a medium dog, large being  more like big dogs. Alpha think Great Dane & bigger. Omega, think  BIG. Omega are special in that the neck fire is big, & the eye rings  are made of smoke/fire.

Forms:

While feral is more common, they are also capable of an anthro form.
