The Phorus Region seems like any other. Trainers beginning their journeys, challenging gyms, catching Pokemon, and taking on the League. But hidden among the population are Pokemon with an incredible ability; the ability to shapeshift into humans.

Those with this ability struggle with life. They face pressure from both Pokemon to live free and wild, but also humans to live in accordance to societal order. Some adhere to one side or another, and others attempt to play both sides of the field. Whichever path they choose, they live in complete secrecy and are forced to keep their true identities hidden. It's been that way for as long as any of them can remember and nobody has yet to challenge to status quo.

But old forces are stirring that may threaten to upset this secret population and force them out into the open.
