The Grand Mag-ravial

A waterfront without water, a pier without a sea. The Mag-ravial, the centerpiece to the land of lucid dreams is exactally what it sets itself up to be. It is the carnival at the edge of the world. Set into the style of old fashioned carnival faire it appears to have been left to suffer, chunks drifting away in the ever drifting landscape. The carnival was once a bustling and lively event though few come to its gates now.  The main attraction is the large carosel kept under the large lavendar and silver tent. It's old antique horses and other animals painted with such skill they appear almost lifelike, trapped in the materials they were made from. Other things exist here as well such a wooden coasters, the remains of tents and carnival games.

Hiraeth

- a home that is no longer, or perhaps never was.

The space beyond the edge of the dream world, the emptiness vast and utter blackness in form.  It's name is attributed to the feeling dreams leave behind and the sandman themself. This is their home, the last vestiage before the void, and under their protection despite nothing being able to 'live' here in a sense. There is no ground, no sky, just a place of nothingness and the vast expanse of sand.

Château

The Sandman's true 'home' one of the few fixed locations within the world of dreams. It is a black stone mannor whose shimmering lights have since dimmed, its foundations upon the constantly reforming land mass.

Warehouse Number 8

The Birthplace of the Sentinels, and home to the Grand tinkerer, Albert Kepler Von Weisshaupt. The Grand warehouse sits between the realm of the Stars and the Realm of dreams, baring the emblem of the Inventor himself, a pair of ram like horns juxtaposed with the emblem of Pluto, leader of the tinkerer's and artisans for the Stars. Unlike most of the stars buildings, it's outer appearance is left plain, the stone masonry plain made from hand cut stone with a black tile roof. Inside however, production of the Sentinels, the guards of the stars as well as the equipment for monitoring the  sheild which keeps the city of the Stars safe and seperate from the heavens below.  The Warehouse is located in the Western district near the 'waterfront' which drips off the edge of the main sphere.

The City of the Stars

The City of the Stars, built in the shape of a spherical astrolabe or, armillary sphere within the void of space extending throughout the universe. Through the main city, the overlapping roads and lanes form rings which run acrosss different planes all contained within the sheild itself with the main access point or gate monitored by the House of Mars. It's central features include the main city sphere, a solid orb in the center of the mass home to most of the political buildings where the Celestial Lords meet in order to conduct business, The Well of Whispered Time, The Palace of Night where the King and Queen of the Void reside, the Nocturnal House, The Home of the Time Keeper, as well as the Nocturnal House on the outer edge of the Sphere.

The Well of Whispered Time

The Well is the lifeblood of the Stars, for they are eternal creatures. The Stars were born from the well and live their lives in jovial peace within the Upper Heavens. When it is time for a Star to die, they will return to the Well, kept locked and hidden away under the Senate chamber of the Stars.  They exist in a cycle of continious rebirth, coupling together with one another to make new Stars, splitting off parts of themselves and fading means nothing to them for they know they will one day return with their memories intact. The act of Coupling is celebrated mostly durring the Summer Solstice durring a large Mardi-Gras like festival though there is nothing to say that this can't be done at any time. Only Pure blooded Stars however, will return to the Well and although their half-blood children live a longer lifetime than most there is no record of such a being returning to the well.

A Star will also, only return to the Well upon Natural Death, a murdered Star or one who has 'Fallen' to Earth will no longer be brought back to the Well and upon Death disapear from the cycle entirely. It is also noted the older a Star becomes the more violent their Death's will be creating the effects known as 'Red Giants' or 'Supernovas'.
