Hello there!  My name is Jovian and I made this TH World for my long-term storybuilding project of Rixile.  This is a fantasy world I've entertained on and off since late 2004, and I figure there's no better time to get the information out there.

Naturally, this is a closed World and will be used only for informational purposes.  Currently it is a WIP; an asterisk (*) indicates a partially finished article or an article in the midst of revision, whereas two asterisks (**) indicate a blank article, only created to be a placeholder and reminder to myself of what I wish to write about.

The basic idea is that Rixile is a fantasy planet created and formerly ruled by ten elemental gods, which have shaped its cultural and political landscapes heavily even in the current era, long after the gods became relegated to myth alone.  There are ten elemental races made in the pantheon's image (though they're all collectively referred to as "humans"), and ten ancestral territories belonging to each.  The ten elements are referred to as light, dark, wood, thunder, fire, ice, air, metal, water, and earth, though the entire breadth of what each element entails is much broader than their base term would have you think.

I'm trying to develop Rixile as an entire setting, so that many small story ideas could fit in its historical timeline.  The only "big" story I've created for it is set in something close to modern day; there's sci-fi-esque fantasy tech like automatons and teleportation, but no smartphones yet, for example.  The mortals' profiles here on my account concern the events of this story, while the pantheon's profiles are more broadly informative.

Feel free to comment or ask questions--I'll indulge anything within reason.  You can even make a Rixile OC if you like; I consider the human races to be open species, as long as you give credit.
