Our rules are subject to updates, corrections, and revisions as necessity arises.
Thank you for understanding.

By participating in CARNIS Labs or owning any masterlisted CARNIS character, you agree to these terms and are responsible for any consequence that arises from breaching them.

GENERAL SPECIES TERMS

• CARNIS is a closed species, meaning you may not create your own neocarnation without explicit permission. You may not design and upload a neocarnation without an official approved MYO ticket and masterlist number, and trading unofficial neocarnations while associating them with CARNIS Labs counts as scamming. Breaking this rule will result in a warning. Multiple offenses or deliberate breach of this rule will result in punitive action, voiding of your neocarnation design, and potentially blacklisting.

USER CONDUCT & BLACKLIST

• Any users found to be participating in harmful behavior outside of CARNIS Labs (e.g. scamming, endorsing incest or pedophilic content, endangering others, discriminatory actions, etc.) are subject to blacklisting to protect members of our community. 
• We are not responsible for mediating "personal drama" and feuds outside of CARNIS Labs. Moderators will only take action against users that pose a danger to others in the community. "Drama" has no place in our community, and any attempt to insert us in personal feuds or take action against us for refusing to engage may result in blacklisting.
• CARNIS Labs reserves the right to void ownership and trade appraisal of carnes owned by blacklisted individuals.
• We vehemently discourage users from harassing blacklisted individuals and we will take punitive action against users that break this rule.

DISCLIPLINE & COMPLAINTS

• We do not tolerate disrespect or bullying toward any members of CARNIS Labs, and this includes moderators.
• Blocking staff to circumvent punishment is against our rules and may result in punitive action.
• You are responsible for understanding and following CARNIS Labs’ rules. Please respect our moderators and comply with discipline to avoid further punitive action.
• If you believe you were wrongly punished, you may explain yourself to a staff member through direct messages. This is not guaranteed to void your consequence.

USER CONTENT & +18 CONTENT

• CARNIS Labs does not take responsibility or jurisdiction for content users create and upload regarding their carnes; users are free to roleplay, write, imagine, draw and produce any content they desire for their carne. However, moderators will take action against user content that breaks our blacklist and conduct rules.
• Promotion and sharing of NSFW content is not allowed within our all-ages community. Creation of this content is allowed, but not within our public spaces.
• Carnes with NSFW content within their toyhou.se are NOT allowed to be traded to minors in any circumstance, and skirting this rule is a serious offense. All NSFW content must be verifiably removed from the carne’s TH profile before a trade can be made.

SALE GUIDELINES

• All carnes and MYOs obtained through official sales are nonrefundable.
• Intentional inflation is prohibited, and a carnes’ worth can only be increased through verifiably commissioned content. We encourage fair trading.
• Without additional commissioned art, carnes may only be traded/resold for as much as the price they were purchased at. Please report users skirting these rules to staff!

TRADE GUIDELINES

• Carnes may not be traded to users without a Toyhou.se account.
• Carnes are not allowed to be resold, traded, or purchased on Amino due to the risk of scams. If you see a carne for sale on Amino, please report it to staff!
• Begging or sending unsolicited offers to disinterested users is prohibited and will result in punitive action. 

COMMERCIAL RIGHTS

• All members of the community retain all creative and merchandising rights to their carnes.
• Members do not hold creative, commercial, or merchandising rights to CARNIS Labs and its premise but may use its setting, lore, events, and characters within small-scale merchandise and public projects such as comics, novels, animations, or games.
• Discussion beforehand is required before any commercial publicization for larger-scale projects. We reserve the right to decline commercial publicization of properties of CARNIS Labs.
