It is the year 2131.

The Alpha Quadrant remains a peaceful sector of the Milky Way, with the Galactic Embassy's judicious influence steadfast in its territories. And with recent news, it appears the Embassy's influence will start to grow farther than the Milky Way thanks to recent advancements in teludav technology. All is peaceful, prosperous, and well. For now.

The parasitic empire of the Erysichthon Armada continues to expand with every conquered planet, and with a continuously growing trading ring of illegal quintessence from Balmera X-95-Vox, slaves from multiple enslaved planets - primarily Vort -, and raw materials extracted from their planets, their influence only grows stronger and more deadly.

However, an accidental rebellion forms to stand against Tallest Nova's reign. Whether they stand a chance is up to debate, but a flicker of hope grows, seeing they haven't fallen like rebellions before them yet. Let's hope they don't cause their own downfall before they can defeat the Irken Empire.

Where do you stand in all of this?

MAJOR PLOT POINTS

▸ The Xenomorph Infestation

1931-2071

Tallest Nova's Armada--known as Tallest Zabnoc's Armada at the time since it was under a different rule--was subdued by a xenomorph infestation after a facehugger hid inside one of the ventilation systems of a cargo ship. From what began as a single case quickly spread out like wildfire shortly after the first xenomorph burst out the infected irken's chest. Sooner or later, more facehuggers were appearing from the ceiling or vents, infecting the entire cargo ship by the time it landed on an irken planet. When the doors to the spaceship where opened, all hell broke loose.

The infestation lasted around 140 years, resulting in casualties by the millions. Never before had the irken empire dropped exponentially in resources and labor force.

▸ The 4 Year War

1931-1971

Tallest Zabnoc had declared war against Tallest Tess and her Armada. Resources from Zabnoc's Armada dwindled in numbers, and the Erysichthon Armada entered a very dark age in history. This war lasted 40 years (4 years in irken terms). Despite the odds stacked against them, when Tallest Nova rose to power, the Eryschthon Armada pulled out victorious.

▸ Code 777: The Colonization of Vort

2034

"The planet Vort and her natives had been loosely conquered by the Irken Empire centuries prior, given enough jurisdiction to continue thriving by herself with few outside interferences. However, it wasn't until Nova discovered precious metals and resources needed to aid the Empire during a recession from Xenomorph outbreaks. Tallest Nova gains complete jurisdiction of planet Vort and executes code 777, also known as Killing Gods.

Every vortian centaur (a religiously meaningful race to vortian culture) was captured forcefully under Nova's orders. The next day all centaurs were lined up in front of their followers before executed in a firing squad. A clear message that even Nova could kill ""gods"" if he pleased, and Vort had no choice but to surrender under the Empire's aggressive conquest.

▸ Discovery of Second Vort Colony

2092

A handful of vortians managed to escape their home planet during the Irken Empire's conquest. With a new planet to their name, they continued vortian life far from Nova's reaches. Or so they thought. Around 2092, the second Vortian Colonies were discovered by Erysichthon forces, and the second forceful conquest took place. Shortly after a second genocide on vortian centaurs, these vortians were shipped back to planet Vort.

▸ Official Establishment of Rebellion

2130

After a few months from its actual creation, the Rebellion had officially established itself with Nixtron as the appointed captain of the rebel fleet. Seems like Nova might have to start taking this "annoyance" more seriously.

SETTINGS

▸ The Erysichthon Armada

A growing empire located on the uppermost of the Delta Quadrant, with their dominion stretching across thousands of lightyears, a population of quadrillion, and a massive slave-trading ring, the Erysichthon Armada is a force to be reconned. Led by the All-Knowing, All-Powerful, Almighty Tallest Nova, they strive for the sole purpose of conquering, colonizing, and spreading throughout the cosmos. And they don't plan to stop at anything to obstruct their goal. If that obstacle is an increasingly troublesome rebellion, so be it.

▸ The Anextharia Armada

A more peaceful Armada not far off from Erysichton. It split off from the main Armada hundreds of years back. Instead of conquering, this Armada is made up of planets that have formed an alliance with the Irkens and work together to better their societies. It is currently being led by the kind Tallest Tess and her second in command Neptune, a Vortian. As they are working together: Tess has a council to help her keep track of every aspect of her Armada, and she cannot make decisions that would anger the majority of the alliance. They are extremely adverse to Erysichton, especially since Nova has been known to enslave any Anxtherian Irken he finds. Though slow to anger, this armada is not one you should mess with lightly.

▸ The Rebellion

Formed accidentally, now stands a growing rebellion made up of multiple different backgrounds, all banding together for a shared goal, to take down the Irken Empire. They are stubborn like an ink stain, the first rebellion not to crumble under the Armada's gruesome ways despite their lack of organization, resources, and sometimes teamwork. They will fight tooth and nail to topple Nova's dictatorship if it's the last thing they do...if they don't end up toppling each other first.

▸ The Galactic Embassy

As the crown jewel of the Alpha quadrant, The Galactic Embassy is a staple for law, order, and alliance. Standing as a union between hundreds of planets across the Milky Way, it is the closest this galaxy will get to a central, peaceful intergalactic government. It provides protection and order to the planets it’s aligned to, and has open arms to those who wish to annex into its great trade. Ruled by Sovereign Tor, elected by popular vote as President, and her courts of Ambassadors and Judges, the Embassy is a glowing beacon of safety and refuge. As peaceful and virtuous as they appear, they do hold a powerful standing military and law endowment, and those would be cautious to meddle in their affairs.

▸ Givazunovazi (Phore AH6)

A dark underbelly of the Gamma Quadrant, Givazunovazi, more commonly called Giza, is a planet of anarchy, organized crime, violence, and broken dreams. Majority of its lawless streets--save the large sectors run by large mafia families who force their jurisdiction on the poor--give leeway for black markets to thrive. Gang violence is rampant, poverty is worldwide, and the ecosystem of Giza is but a mere memory. Only concrete jungles remain, made up of breaking-down buildings and illuminated with glaring neon lights. Many say once you step foot on Giza, it's impossible to come back out if you're not careful.

▸ Alpha Quadrant

The Alpha Quadrant is the most lively of the other four quadrants, full of thriving alien life at every corner. Majority of this quadrant is predominantly Embassy Territory and under the protection of the Galactic Embassy’s militia and law. Its by far the most advanced section technologically, economically, and politically.

▸ Beta Quadrant

The Beta Quadrant is the least populated in alien life, and also the most unexplored in certain pockets of its territory. It’s isolated, simple, and mostly calm.

▸ Delta Quadrant

The Delta Quadrant is infamous for having the majority of its northern territory conquered by the Irken Armada. Outside of the more dangerous political areas, it’s a calm quadrant with southern-western Embassy Territory bleeding through.

▸ Gamma Quadrant

The Gamma Quadrant is also dubbed as the dark corner of the Milky Way. It’s by far the most scarce in planetary formations and celestial bodies, the few that reside are far away from Embassy law and jurisdiction—giving leeway to multiple black markets to thrive. It’s not unusual to hear star sailor tales of small cargo ships to entire fleets going missing at the heart of the quadrant, never to be heard of again in the Patrulian Zone. That is, if the countless blackholes or neutron stars don’t devour them first.
