Munchzies are a closed species. These humanoid beings are known for their toxic goo tails and their powerful belly jaws.
In a world much like our own lays an alternate universe where Munchzies and monstrous creatures alike live. All around the world Munchzies can be found living all sorts of different lifestyles! But here in the World of Munchzies we have cities, towns and other neat places for them to interact in.
You do not need a Munchzie to join in the group. All are welcomed. ♥

The Life of a Munch
Life Span
A Munchzie can easily reach to 200 years old(Human years), but it isn't unheard of to find some much older.
You can tell the age of a Munch based off the rings in their ears! Much like a tree, each ring represents 10 years. Granted they are born with a single ring.
Time in Edblia is counted slightly different from the human world. For every year in the human world, in Edblia it is counted as 10! It's not very common for Munchzies nowadays to use this unit of measurement.
Diet
The diet of a munchzie varies greatly on the type of belly teeth they have.
White/Bone: Organic materials
Black Obsidian: All metals
Crystal Teeth: The finest of gems and stones
Coral Teeth: Sea Life such as fish, seaweed and other oceanic materials
Colored Teeth: Any material that is the same color as the teeth
Mixed Teeth: Any of the materials their teeth are mixed with
It’s very common for a Munch to ‘dye’ their foods and drinks. As it can be very hard for some to find yummy goodies to munch on.
The larger the goo tail, the bigger the appetite. Their lower mouths are capable of consuming food, but It's not something that they do often. If they do eat with their lower mouths, it would be the same diet that belongs with the material their teeth are made out of.
Any Munchzie that strays from their strict diet can become sick and it could be fatal. Sadly, there are Munchzies who've become "addicts' by destroying their diet.
They have the devastating aftermaths including:
Black Tar Goo: Their once vibrant mild poisonous goo tail becomes a DEADLY Black Tar like substance that sticks and kills anything it comes in contact with. There is no known cure for this yet.
Loss of Pigment/ Becoming Monochrome Permanently: Sometimes the side-effects are not as severe as Black Tar Goo, but instead they just slowly lose pigment in certain areas - becoming monochrome.
Extra Info
Thanks to the portal technology Munchzies can be found everywhere! They can mingle with any other species and have even been seen in alternate universes.
The average height of a Munch is roughly 6 feet/182 cm It’s common for them to be short or taller than this.
Abilities & Skills
The perks of being a Munchzie are great and mighty!
Typically a Munchzie with a large tail will be slower and have a lower agility. Whereas a small tailed Munch will be speeder.
Physical Strength is a key trait that all Munchzies have, big or small every Munch is much stronger than your average human.
Goo Tail
PHYSICAL - Due to the toxic and poisonous nature of the goo material, any non-Munchzie that comes in contact with it will suffer. If the affected area is not cleaned properly it will slowly begin to melt away. The longer the goo sits, the deeper it will seep. Making it incredibly hard to stop.
Bellymouth
PHYSICAL - A bite from one of these powerful sets of jaws can easily sever a limb if unlucky enough to get munched by it.

Origin
In a parallel universe much like our own lays a world called Edblia, this is the birthplace of the original species known as Grumbellies. These were the ancestors to the Munchzies we know today.History
Life in Edblia was perfect for the Grumbellies. Plentiful food, and a peaceful life was had by all. That is, until a strange portal ripped open in their lands. Humans emerged, scared but curious of this new world and its people. Carefully they befriended each other and the humans were welcomed to their society. Over time the two species intertwined, and after many generations they began to mutate.
With these mutations their whole beings changed. They grew additional fingers, they’re signature legs began to straighten, as well as they’re bellymouths started to shrink. With so many mutated children they dubbed them ‘Munchzies”. This name has stuck with them ever since then.
As the rise in the Munchzie population rose the humans numbers had begun to fall. This made them panic and form a group to ‘take back’ control. They called in reinforcements by using the portal and with this the uprising began. Blood shed and the streets filled with the cries of Grumbellies and Munchzies alike. Most were killed, and the few that survived were enslaved and sold in the human world.
Edblia is now a shell of its former self. The once booming cities and lively lands are nothing more than ruins and an overgrown wasteland. It is because of this traitorous act that there are so very few Grumbellies existing. Even now, hundreds of years after the slaughter, Munchzies still harbor a hatred for the human race.
