Our entire lives we've had our backs to StarClan, now it seems StarClan has their backs to us.

About

Upon the plains and meadows lies MoorClan. A Clan who always have their backs to the sky. A Clan who has been shut out by StarClan themselves. Why they have been shut out from StarClan is a tale long forgotten by the clans. Now it has become a way of life for the clan.

While their territory seems mainly empty with only fields and meadows, they would argue that there is so much more. A Clan that lives partly out on the moors and the other half of them living underground, building tunnels all through the territory, creating underground labyrinths that the inexperienced could easily get lost within and go mad. Rumours have it that there are even some tunnels that enter into other clan's territories.

Trivia

For generations MoorClan hasn't had any contact with StarClan
MoorClan's leaders don't get any lives
Even if the Priest goes to the Moonstone and tries to contact StarClan, they are shut out.
MoorClanners cannot get any Suntouched Powers. The only powers they can recieve are Moon-Scarred.
The other Clans see MoorClan as Paranoid and cowardly, as they will often flee and hide rather than fight. They do this to protect their leader whom has one life.

Water's End

The end of the river. There are speculations as to where the water has gone, but MoorClan uses it to trap fish that have nowhere else to go in times of difficult game.

Striking Tree

The only tree in MoorClan, and a frequent victim of thunder strikes. Cats stay clear of this landmark anytime there's even a cloud in the sky, in case StarClan strikes them down.

Gopher Mound

In the bottom right of the territory lies a large colony of gophers, their homes so prominent their hills can be seen from some distance away. They'd make for great game if it weren't for the dang things ganging up on cats when they try to hunt. Use caution when approaching their home!

Camp info

MoorClan calls their home under the depths of the moors. Claiming home in an abandoned fox warren where they have reinforced it and made it into their camp.
There are many tunnels leading into other areas of the territory, getting trapped in camp is near impossible
There are many runoff tunnels to avoid flooding within the camp.
With how specious this camp is, the deputy also gets their own den.
The medicine den's walls are lined with roots and herbs where the medicine cat will grow the majority of what they need, with a small pool of water and a patch in the cieling allowing for light to beam through

StarClan's lost Children

For a reason that no clan can remember any more, StarClan has completely turned their backs on MoorClan. For this they call themselves StarClan's lost children. For generations upon generations they haven't been able to speak a word to their warrior ancestors. They don't even know if they ascend to StarClan when they die.

Due to their lack of contact with their ancestors, cats of this clan can't recieve Suntouched powers. Although they have found they can recieve Moon-Scarred powers. Due to this more and more of the clan will seek out the dark forest looking for the powers that they can be given. The other clans believe that this is causing MoorClan to stray further and further from StarClan's Light. GaleClan believe this the most, and believe that they could help MoorClan to salvation.

Fragile Leaders

Due to their lack of contact with StarClan, leaders of MoorClan, for generations haven't ever recieved their 9 lives that the other clans are so graciously given. The Leaders of MoorClan have always lived with a single life, making MoorClan go through more leaders than any of the other clans have ever been through.

Due to them only having one life, the Leader is most commonly seen staying within camp, leaving their deputy to head out of camp for patrols and dangerous situations. Additionally the Leader is very rarely seen within battle, in the rare cases that MoorClan go into battle. MoorClanners will fight to their death to protect their leader.

Doomsday Planners

MoorClan are, for lack of a better word, are known for being "Doomsday Planners" these cats are always strategising and analysing their situations and surroundings. They know their leader is "fragile" and that their territory can be considered rather unsafe with the lack of foliage to protect them from predators and the weather.

This is why they will continuously build runoff tunnels around their territory as a drainage system from storms.

Additionally they will spend the majority of their lives underground hiding from predators, rival clans and from lighteningstrikes.

Underground will be their Salvation and their Downfall

Due to the majority of MoorClan spending their lives underground these cats are known for getting issues with their respritory systems and losing vision within their eyes from a much younger age than the other clans. The Dust particals that they inhale and have go into their eyes are often more irritated. Tunnellers are especially affected by this issue.

Due to this, when a cat reaches 100 Moons, you will have a chance to give them a free banned trait out of; Visually impared, Half Blind, Blind and Asthma.

Additionally, due to them spending so much time underground, their eyes are especially sensitive to light when they head out to the surface. Due to this many of them will choose to head onto the surface under the cover of night. As this is much nicer on their eyes. Yet they know that it's especially dangerous to do so.

MoorClan High Rank - Trap Masters

Living on the moors can be dangerous. MoorClan knows of the twolegs that come onto the moors setting up fox traps and rabbit snares. For moons these traps caused issues for the cats of MoorClan. So over time they created the Trap Master to learn how to disarm these traps then to use them to their own advantage to re-enforce camp defences. They will also use them to help themselves hunt for rabbits.

Cats of this rank will spend a lifetime learning about traps and watching the twolegs that visit the moors. These cats are the ones who know the most about twolegs. These cats have started to learn about the habits and behaviours of the twolegs on the moors. While also researching some of the things twolegs will leave behind, anything of value will then be given to the crafters to create unique items with.

HollowClan Rank - Tunnellers

With MoorClan spending the majority of their lives underground they need cats to maintain their camp under the surface and the tunnels that run through their territory. Tunnellers are powerful cats who will dig, dig and dig to their heart's content. They will ensure that the tunnels are safe for travel and will prevent them from collapsing.

Tunnellers will be the first point of call to guide those who aren't as well versed with the tunnels as they are, ensuring that no one gets lost and that those they are guiding reach their destination safely.

Although it has been known for cats of other ranks to look down on tunnellers. Believing that they are higher beings and more worthy than the tunnellers. While MoorClan strives to tell all clanmates are equal, it's hard to stop such rampant talk.
