GENERAL RULES

• Both Whispies and Seki-sites are a Closed Species, this means you must have a MYO slot to make your own. (Whispie/Seki-site)
  • Whispies and Seki-sites can be acquired in multiple ways. Through adopts, MYO slots, or events.
  • There are both paid and free ways to get a Whispie or Seki-site, paid ways can be either through real life currency or group currency.
    
    
• Be kind and understanding to members and non-members of the community.
  • Harassment of any kind will NOT be tolerated and will result in a warning, strike, or ban. (Depending on severity.)
    
    
• When having a problem regarding the group, species, or another individual, feel free to contact the moderation team. (Owners & Mods.)
  
  
• You do not need to own a Whispie/Seki-site to be a part of the community, we welcome any members.
  • For events, if you choose to participate and do not own a Whispie or Seki-site, there will be a provided list of NPC's to draw or members who will allow you to draw their Whispie/Seki-site.
    
    
• When receiving or using a Whispie/Seki-site (whether it be uploading art or storing them on an image storing website, etc.), proper credit must be given. This includes crediting the artists of each artwork of your Whispie/Seki-site (in the case of uploading to Toyhou.se), crediting the designer of your Whispie/Seki-site, and crediting the group itself. (Wandering Whispies)
  • Do not put any of the owners or staff as creator credit for the design on the profile of the Whispie/Seki-site, simply add their Masterlist link and add them to the Wandering Whispies world.
    
    
• Tracing, copying, or stealing, of anyone's designs, art, or otherwise, can result in bans or strikes as necessary.
  • This action also applies for utilizing outside or non-Whispie/Seki-site art within Whispie/Seki-site art or designs.
  • When utilizing bases for any Whispie/Seki-site art, credit MUST be given, otherwise warnings, strikes, or bans may result from lack of credit.
• Slots cannot be refunded for any reason, you are free to resell your slot within reason.
  • This rule is waived if otherwise stated or permission is given.
  • Chargebacks for any slots, adopts, or official mod-made Whispies/Seki-sites can result in bans and reselling of the slot, character, etc.
    
    
• By participating in the species and community, you are agreeing to have read and understand all rules.
  • If you have any concerns or questions regarding any rules of the group/species, as well as the terms of service, please contact the group or any available moderators/owners.

DISCRIMINATION/HARASSMENT

• In the Wandering Whispies Community, we do NOT tolerate racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic speech. The usage of such speech can result in possible strikes and/or bans.
  
  
• We do not tolerate the harassment of community members over their designs.
  • Continuous or incessant asking, or giving unsolicited offers, for Whispies/Seki-sites both up (and not), for offers, sale, trade, or otherwise. This will result in a first time warning, continued or repeated offenses will lead to strikes, and possible bans. (Depending on severity.)
  • Guilt tripping, begging, or coercion, is also not tolerated. We ask for those who are experiencing this to please submit evidence so that the moderation team can officially and properly handle these situations and give out proper warnings, strikes, or possible bans.
    
    
• This rule also applies for members reselling or trading designs, pushing members to make higher offers may also result in a warning if it is found to be malicious.
  • An example of maliciously pushing for a higher offer: Hinting towards not accepting an offer because it isn't high enough or holding a character over someone's head. Regular bidding and discussing are absolutely fine, of course.
    
    
• Bullying, threatening, harassment, or slander, towards other Wandering Whispies members can result in warnings, strikes, or bans
  
  
• We will not accept any submission of Whispies/Seki-sites with the following words: trap, femboy, shota/loli, etc.
  • Submissions using these words will be denied, and we will ask you to remove or change the words.
  • In cases of the usage of shota/loli, we are within are rights to issue proper bans, strikes, or warnings, depending of the content of the character.
    • These words often center around the connotation of pedophilic attraction, with shota and loli indicating young boys and girls.

Disclaimer: While we can handle situations within our official Whispies communities and servers, we are not directly responsible for private interactions between users. As well, individuals involved in outside drama or events is not within our control.

• Please note that everything is handled by a case-by-case basis, you are free to reach out to our moderation team in order to get a conclusive answer on the situation(s). 

NSFW WORK & TOPICS
DISCLAIMER: ANY AND ALL NSFW CONTENT SHOULD NOT BE POSTED TO ANY PUBLIC PLACE (i.e. discord, forms, forums. etc. examples: no ads with NSFW or questions of NSFW nature) AS WE HAVE MODS AND OWNERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 AND SHOULD NOT BE EXPOSED TO ANY CONTENT OF SEXUAL NATURE, POSTING TO PERSONAL ACCOUNTS PAGES WHERE IT IS PROPERLY HIDDEN FROM MINORS IS ALLOWED. ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS CAN ONLY BE DIRECTED TO ADULT STAFF BUT FEEL FREE TO DO SUCH. 
This rule may be changed once all moderators and owners reach and/or are past the age of 18 years old.

• In the Wandering Whispies community, we absolutely do not allow for NSFW, or sexual content, to be made of minor or underage characters. We also do not allow for minors to create, or distribute, NSFW content of their characters, regardless of that character's age. This is regardless of if they're a Whispie, Seki-site or any other species. (CS or Non-CS)
  • NSFW content made by minors, or distributed by a minor, can result in a warning, strike, or ban depending on the severity of the content. Repeated behaviors will result in a Ban.
  • NSFW content, regardless of age (adult/minor), knowingly made for a minor will result in banning from the species.
  • Knowingly receiving NSFW content BY a minor can also result in being banned from the species.
    
    
• We also do not allow for incestuous, pedophilic, or bestiality content to be made, as that reflects poorly of the community. Based on the situation, warnings, strikes, or bans can be given for any reason. Refusal to not post this content publicly can result in being banned.
  
  
• In general, content that depicts (Written, Drawn, Roleplayed, or otherwise), utilizes, or encourages the following: underage/incest/beastiality nsfw, nazi/imperialism, racism/transphobia, and similar content, will result in a blacklist from the species and community.
  
  
• Content that does NOT include any of the above, and the creator is a legal adult, we have no say in what can be done.
  • This allows for 18+ community members to create NSFW art, or concepts, for their characters with no say from the mod team.
  • Whispies and Seki-sites that contain NSFW content cannot be traded to minors in the community. Attempts to do so will result in proper consequences. (Warning, Strike, or Ban.)
    
    
• The Wandering Whispies team cares heavily for our minor-based community, so individuals who are found to be interacting with egregious/offensive content, even outside of the community, can be banned or otherwise accordingly.

COMMERCIAL AND MERCHANDISE USAGE

• Whispie/Seki-site owners have/own partial rights to their character(s).
  • Whispie/Seki-site adopts, customs, etc. made by the Wandering Whispies staff team may be used for the species. (portfolios, advertising, etc.)
    • Whispies/Seki-sites used in this regard will not be used for financial gain or otherwise.
    • We will always ask permission before using any Whispie/Seki-site for any type of advertisement purposes.
      
  • Owners can use their Whispie/Seki-site for personal use, including personal merchandise, personal projects, etc.
  • Most commercial usages of Whispies/Seki-sites are a case-by-case basis, and depend entirely on the intended usage of said character.
    • Whispies/Seki-sites used in commercial projects, such as mass production are typically not allowed. (buttons, charms, shirts, etc.)
    • These rules are subject to waiver or change based on the content, production, etc.
    • Under no circumstances do we, the Wandering Whispies Staff team, allow minors to mass produce content or anything of the sort.

TRADING, SELLING, & GIFTING

• Our moderation team reserves the right to interfere with any trading transactions in the case of a problem or suspicious activity.
   
• Please update the Masterlist after transferring a character, you can do this either in the Whispies server or in the designated bulletin.
  
  
• Whispies/Seki-sites that contain alternate universe versions, or other closed species versions, are required to be traded, sold, or gifted together. Designs that contain these elements may not be separated by any means.
  
  
• Whispies/Seki-sites can be traded, sold, or gifted, for anything included real world items, digital goods, services, etc.
  • Vouchers, items, or other similar content, should be priced fairly within the general cost and price of your Whispie/Seki-site.
  • Vouchers, items, or similar content, cannot be priced over the original worth of a MYO slot.
    
    
• Multiple parties are allowed to be involved in trades; however, it is the responsibility of those parties involved to make sure that the trade goes smoothly without any problems. It is not the responsibility of our moderation team to make sure the trade goes smoothly/without complications. (Ex. A three way trade)
  
  
• All trades, resells, and gifting, must be logged and approved by the Masterlist.
  
  
• All trade transactions are final once placed on the Masterlist.
  • Trading back is considered a different trade transaction and should be logged as well.
  • Any attempts to take back a Whispie/Seki-site once a trade has been completed, unless canceled by all parties involved, can result in bans, strikes or warnings.
    
    
• MYO slots may be traded, resold, or gifted within their permitted trade status (e.g. being trade only means the slot can only be traded. ex. A slot can only be traded if it was obtained for free/as a raffle.).
  • Any and all changes in MYO slot ownership must be reported to the MYO Slot Masterlist entry.
  • MYO slots can only be resold for the worth they were obtained; partial resale is allowed.
  • Attempting to sell slots that are not eligible to be sold can result in strikes or bans.
  • Attempting to trade and/or gift slots not eligible to be traded or gifted can result in strikes or bans.
    
    
• Any Whispies or Seki-sites that are made from free MYOs or gifted initially do not have a worth until additional worth is added.
  • Additional worth can be added through the following: personal (Completed/Polished) art and commissions.
    • Personal art can only be counted if it is a "polished" piece, meaning rough sketches or "memes" cannot be added to the value of the Whispie/Seki-site.
    • Gift art and Game art does not count towards the worth of the Whispie/Seki-site as it is art that has been obtained for free.
  • Calculating and determining the worth of a Whispie/Seki-site is the responsibility of the buyer and seller.
    • Please report any problems of overpricing to the moderation team.
    • If too many problems or concerns arise with the honesty system, then an appraisal system will be put into place.
  • Whispies and Seki-sites are not "trade locked". Meaning they can be sold for their full value after the 72 hour/3 day trading cool-down period.
    
    
• Whispies and Seki-sites do not currently need to be appraised, but there are ways to easily determine their worth. (Traded, Gifted, or Bought.)
  • If the Whispie/Seki-site was part of a raffle, free MYO event, or obtained in any other way without payment; it cannot be resold UNLESS value has been added.
  • If the Whispie/Seki-site was an adopt or designed as a paid for MYO; the worth needs to be listed on their profile.
  • Any commissioned or personal art must have it's worth listed. (Only if the personal art qualifies as monetary value.)
    • Any personal art must be based off one's current commission prices.
    • Gift art, sketches, or "memes" do not count towards the value of the Whispie/Seki-site.
  • Art obtained through trades may only add worth if all members of the trade agree that worth may be added.
    • This is based upon the involved individual's current prices or proposed price.
  • Art obtained as a gift, raffle, request, or otherwise free, do not count towards a Whispie's or Seki-site's worth.

CO-OWNING

• Whispies and Seki-sites are allowed to be co-owned by multiple people.
  • The Masterlist only recognizes one official owner; usually, this would be the first person to obtain the Whispie/Seki-site.
    
    
• The Wandering Whispies staff is not responsible for any disputes between owners regarding co-ownership.
  • This rule is waived if the disputes may involve scamming-like/aggressive or forceful behavior.
    • Such as monetary, trade, or otherwise, gains that is not conducted by the primary owner.

VOIDING A WHISPIE OR SEKI-SITE

• If you retire or void a design from the species, you must contact the designer of the character to obtain permission.
  
  
• In order to successfully void a Whispie or Seki-site, you must provide the following:
  • A screenshot of the original designer giving you explicit permission to take the design(s) out of the species.
    • This rule does not apply if you are the original designer.
       
• Since these aspects are rather common, we do not require you to change the design significantly.
  • What we do require is that you remove any indication from their profiles that they are a Whispie/Seki-site or included in the world/community.
  • Once this is done, they will be marked as voided on the Masterlist and their Masterlist entry will declare that they are no longer a part of the species.
  • Voided Whispies and Seki-sites cannot be used as if they are still a part of the species. (i.e. events, gift art, etc.)
  • They can not be sold as official Whispies or Seki-sites either as they no longer have a valid Masterlist entry.
     
• In order to reinstate voided Whispies and Seki-sites, you must have a MYO of the same rarity along with any traits that are not included in the rarity of the MYO.
  • If a creator refuses to allow a Whispie/Seki-site to be removed from the species, they will simply remain a Whispie/Seki-site and cannot be removed from the species.
    • Whispies/Seki-sites that are denied voided still follow the same rules and TOS as before.

LIABILITY

• The Wandering Whispies team is not responsible for handling personal situations that may involve a community member. We are here to help in any rule breaking, scamming, or foul play. We cannot control what happens out of our jurisdiction. 
  • The Wandering Whispies moderation team cannot control, moderate, or otherwise influence, situations that do not directly involve or relate to the species (Whispies/Seki-sites), the community, or the species world. We can only moderate, or control, our communities and member conduct related to or within the group. We do not condone or have much patience for digging up information (drama, petty behavior, etc.) on any members to stir up trouble/drama.
  • Members are able to block anyone that makes them uncomfortable, in anyway. Though we do not recommend blocking moderators/owners.
  • The moderation team is not responsible for fights between friends, general drama, trades gone sour, private drama, or other similar situations.
    
    
• Wandering Whispies is not responsible for trades or co-owning situations, where either party is unhappy with the outcome of said trade/co-owning.
  
  
• We cannot police, or otherwise control, member's art styles and aesthetics when it comes to both SFW/NSFW art.
  • This rule can be waivered if we believe your content is made to appeal to underage NSFW, regardless of the character's assigned age.
    
    
• Issues with members can be directly reported to the mods, we want to keep the community a safe place for everyone. We are also able to determine if we, as a species, are able to do anything about specific behaviors and situations.
  • Information about these events do not need to be disclosed directly. If you are in need of updates or information on the situation, you are free to ask; this is of course dependent on the situation and is not required to be given.

(How to make and go about getting your MYO design approved)

Where can I get my MYO slot approved?
You can get your MYO slot approved almost anywhere!
If you want your MYO slot approved quickly, we suggest sending it through:

• The Discord MYO approval channel. 
  • You can also ask questions in the MYO W.I.P channel while you are making your Whispie/Seki-Site to check if there may be any issue.
     
• The MYO approval forum.
  • This can be found by clicking the forums option under either the Whispie or Seki-Site section(s).
     
• We're no longer active on DeviantArt due to updates that make it less than ideal to use.

You MUST provide proof of a valid MYO slot. 

MYO slots are usually uploaded to the Masterlist, but if we happen to miss one from before the ownership change, please DM one of the moderators with proof of a valid slot.

Now that you submitted your design/redesign: Here's what to expect.

• Your message/forum post will be replied to by a moderator, usually an owner.
• Approved MYO designs will be uploaded within a week of approval. (This is an estimate, usually min is very quick.)
• If your design/redesign cannot be approved/there is an issue, it will not be approved until the issue is resolved.

MYO DESIGN RULES
(MYO = Make Your Own)

• You must have a MYO slot to make a Whispie/Seki-Site. You may NOT create one without it.
   
• MYO's cannot resemble Copyrighted Characters. Inspiration is allowed, but please do not turn any Copyrighted Characters into Whispies/Seki-Sites.
   
• Whispies/Seki-Sites cannot be be made inside of Copyrighted Universes utilizing their own anatomy or canonical features (e.g.; My Little Pony, Cookie Run, Pokémon, etc.)
   
• MYO slots can be obtained through sale, resale, trade, or gifting. Ways to obtain include:
  • Buying through an official MYO sale through the group.
  • Buying from a current MYO owner whom has decided to sell their slot.
  • Prizes from group or species events.
  • Trading to get the slot from a current MYO owner.
  • Being gifted a MYO slot.
     
• Whispie/Seki-Site MYO's CANNOT be heavily based on pre-existing designs, unless explicit permission has been given from the designer and owner of that currently existing design. Inspiration is allowed though. (You must provide proof of this permission.)
   
• You may have someone else design your MYO slot for you. They can be commissioned, via art-trade, or for free. (You must let us know if someone else designed the MYO for you.)
   
• Any currently existing designs that you own are allowed to be turned into Whispies/Seki-Sites. If you are not the creator of the design, you must have permission from the original creator/designer first. (Once again, proof of permission is required.)

REDESIGN RULES
(All redesigns are approved on a case-by-case basis.)

• Redesigns must be based off the original design, while some cases may be more extreme depending on the complexity of the original design, please make sure to check with moderators along the way before submitting for approval. (This is not required, but recommended.)
   
• When redesigning a character, they must remain at least 75%-80% similar to the original design, we are very lenient with our redesign policy. (Once again, everything is case-by-case, please refer to the examples below when redesigning.)
   
• When redesigning, you may not change the base species of the Whispie/Seki-Site unless you have an overhaul item. (To be added.)
  • An overhaul item allows you to make major changes to a Whispie/Seki-Site you are redesigning. (Ex. Turning an avian based Whispie/Seki-Site into a marine based one.)
     
• You may not change a Whispie into a Seki-Site, vice versa. (This rule may change in the future.)
   
• Some items such as overhaul items that assist in redesigns may be needed from the seasonal/year-round shops. If you are unsure whether a redesign requires a redesign item, contact a moderator.
   
• Adding traits after a MYO slot has already been used/approved is not possible, but changing traits (if minor) may be possible without an item. (Ex. Changing from Iridescent to Color Change.)
   
• Trait replacements and Trait relocations are flexible, but still may involve an overhaul item depending on what the trait is and how it affects the overall appearance of the original design and redesign.
    
• There are many examples of both major and minor edits.
  • Usually minor edits: Fur/Hair length, Markings/scars/birthmarks, Changing shapes of fins or bone spur formations, Changing eye color, Height, Tail length, ear shape, gender, age, etc. (These are just examples.)
  • Usually major edits: Large color changes (Without the trait), Extreme trait changes, etc. (We are pretty chill with our redesign policy, but it's still good to check in.)
     
• Under no circumstances do we allow: Crossbreeding of the two species, Offensive material, armbands or real life military outfits. 

Disclaimer: We did not invent all of these traits or ideas. They existed before this species and before any other species, when you buy a MYO slot or buy a design, you are paying to be a part of the community and interact with others through your very own piece of this fictional world. This is a fun and safe place, by no means should you feel bad for making an "off-brand", just please respect the work we as owners and moderators put into this species by not calling them/including them as official Whispies/Seki-sites until approved/at all.
