welcome to cephas!
Cephas are an amphibous dragon species that mostly reside in reefs and explore the ocean. They are equiped with a tentacle-like tail that allows them to latch onto surfaces and prey. The suction cups also act as data collectors that pick up taste, smell and texture. They have gills on the sides of their neck that have evolved to have plates protecting the very fragile gill filaments. Along with these two traits there are two rayed fins on both sides of the neck. The use of them serve many different purposes such as to attract a mate, intimidate predators and protect their gills from the sun when they wander on land. .
