Life Cycle

Whether from a clutch of eggs or a live birth (Purrsons have been known to do both!), every Purrson starts life as a grub. They are small, soft, vulnerable, and only able to emit a small chirping noise until they develop further. From this point, they start to develop into a more bipedal humanoid.Ā

Their extra little leg nubs can sometimes develop into their wings, another set of arms, or simply disappear as they age.

The lifespan of the average Purrson can fluctuate wildly, some living a very short amount of time, some matching very closely to a human lifespan, and others living for hundreds of years!

Optional Lore

While this can be considered the "canon" lore for the species, don't feel like you have to keep it as your own Purrsons lore! You're also free to use it as a jumping off point for your original backstories!

Purrsons are an incredibly adaptive species. While their exact origins isn't known, most tend to assume that they are some kind of alien. They've been known to appear in many different environments and scales, from towering creatures strolling across icy mountains, to the smallest, ant sized pests hidden in your own back yard!

They are not immune to social hierarchys, with Drones being considered "common as dirt", and Queens being extremely rare and usually holding higher positions in society. Soldiers are often found filling the gaps inbetween the two groups.
