Sukina Stein is 15 years old, and has finally started school at the DWMA as a Meister. She's been hidden away in her house for 7 years, ever since her mother, Medusa, was killed. Her father, Professor Stein, is glad for her to start school, but he's unaware of the power of the witch half of her soul, which she keeps secret for fear of being killed. Emily Evans is 12, daughter of the Death Scythe Soul Evans and the talented Meister Maka Evans, and she's been a Weapon at the DWMA for a month. She ended her first partnership yesterday, and she's about to lose hope that she'll connect to someone again... until she meets Sukina. The two quickly become friends and form a partnership, making their way through school. Soon, however, the darkness of Sukina's identity starts to cause problems, and they're on a greater scale than anyone had anticipated. Everyone is forced to take sides, and Emily must answer the burning question being thrown at her every day: Will she be able to forgive Sukina for what she's done?

Half-Souled is a Soul Eater fanfiction, first created in 2013. It was first written in 2014-15, and is currently under the process of extreme editing because that was 7th and early 8th grade writing.

Half-Souled features the fancharacters Sukina Stein, Emily Evans, Toku Nakatsukasa, and Thanatos (more commonly known as Nat) Thompson, and their time at the infamous DWMA, or Death Weapon Meister Academy. It is a school for very gifted students, who are either designated as a Weapon or a Meister. Sukina is the daughter of Dr. Franken Stein, a teacher at the academy who holds the title of most skilled Meister to ever graduate, and Medusa Gorgon, a witch who succeeded in raising a kishin powerful enough to destroy the world. Emily is the daughter of Maka Evans, another highly skilled Meister who succeeded in destroying the kishin Medusa raised and eventually made her partner, Soul Evans, into a Death Scythe, and Soul Evans, the Death Scythe made by Maka. Thanatos (Nat) Thompson is the son of Death (Formerly Death the Kid), a grim reaper who has now assumed control of the DWMA from his father, and Liz Thompson, one of Death's personal Death Scythes (the twin pistols). Toku Nakatsukasa is the son of Black*Star, a descendant from a clan of assasins (Star Clan) who was raised in the DWMA from a very early age, and Tsubaki Nakatsukasa, a Death Scythe of multiple forms.
