Landmarks & cities

Acacia, a peninsula with a lot of berry trees, specifically cherri berry trees. During spring, Acacia is very popular for its pink trees. The Ranger School and one Ranger Base are located in Acacia.

Harmony Bridge ; the road to Acacia. It was built recently to provide a safe passage from the mainland of Harmony to the peninsula of Acacia. Before the bridge was built, people would walk on rocks to cross the water, or use small boats.

Laurel/Laragh,

Socotra, where people adore dragon type Pokémon. There is a dragon type statue, and a Johto style temple. The city is holding beautiful summer festivals.

Alyvia is a town located nearby the Serpent Lake and the Misty mountain. The people from this town are known for breeding the most beautiful and colorful Magikarps. People from all over Harmony buy Magikarps here for their ponds. They’re holding beauty contests and games such as “Magikarp Jump”.

Sterculia is a ghost town. The abandoned amusement park is haunted by ghost Pokemon. There is also a sunken cruise ship (used by the amusement park)

Schotia, a big city built up around the main harbor of the region. It has developed a pretty big touristic area and the downtown is well built up but the skirts of the city are populated by fishermen. Schotia is also popular for Pokémon trainer battles

Snofozam, located on the top of the Misty mountain, it is an ever winter village, where beautiful white flowers bloom all year long. Its people have been cultivating numerous types of white flowers for generations according to their traditions. Their hybrids and unique breeds are world famous and people from overseas spend a lot of money to order them to acquire them.

Horsea Island, an Island located between Harmony and Kanto. It was named this way because of its shape resembling a Horsea.

TRIVIA

People living in Harmony are called Harmonians. The Pokémon Rangers from Acacia are sometimes called Harmonian Rangers by Rangers from other regions.

Harmonians invented the Magikarp Jump, a game that consists in training your Magikarp to jump higher than its opponent.

The regional treat is the Monchi (Poké-Mochi).

There is a regional variant to some Pokémon. They're the Harmonian Pokémon - Also called “Pokémon fleurits”, the Blooming Pokémon.

There are many different colored Magikarps in Harmony. People do beauty contests with them. Some colors are highly sought after.

The Ranger School of Acacia has made the Harmonian Vulpix their mascot.

The school was built by an Alolan woman, Honu Lani. Some say she was inspired by the Alolan Poké Rides.

Three years before graduation.

Students can learn to become a Pokémon Ranger, an Operator, or a Mechanic. Operator and Mechanic students share some classes with Rangers, but also have their own. They have different missions, but work as a team with Rangers.

Student Rangers can have a Pokémon Partner. They’re allowed up to six Pokémon, but most students have just one. The Partner Pokémon has to be trained at a high level.

After two years at school, students can pass a test and become Area Rangers.

Rangers are ranked. Jack Walker, for example, is a Rank 9 Ranger.

Becoming a Top Ranger is a rare promotion.

Student Rangers in second year are given missions all around the world. As students, they need to be accompanied.

YEAR ONE - Studying Pokémon, types, moves, items. How to heal a Pokémon. Simulations. Low level missions with a higher ranked Ranger.

YEAR TWO - Studying situations. Missions in Harmony with a team. Missions outside of Harmony with a higher ranked Ranger.

Rank 1-3

YEAR THREE - Rangers can now specialize in ground (water, land, air) and type (healing, knowledge, combat, etc). Missions anywhere with a team allowed. Missions under rank 5 anywhere allowed.
