AND THEN OUR WORLDS WERE SHATTERED.

Approximately 50 human years ago, the fabric of reality itself was split into pieces. Worlds that had once been closed off from each other by a complex system of portals and riftspaces were suddenly opened up, allowing beings from different realities free passage into our own. Two worlds that have long been rivals, the dark caverns of Lilth and sunny jungles of Edenna, have claimed what remains of Earth, now known as Terra, as their latest battleground, causing desolation and chaos as their magic tears up the area surrounding their natural breaches. Otherworlders--inhuman beings possessing extraordinary powers--have traversed freely through all worlds opened up to their access, causing chaos in universes wholly unprepared to accommodate them. Ordinary beings caught in the inter-dimensional carnage are finding themselves forced to either choose a side or flee entirely; whether that be away from their cities and into the wild, or into another world entirely, is up to choice.
But you'd best be quick--the shadows are fast closing in.
